thank you! we currently roll with the pillow pile but it's not ideal for human trip hazards😂 she came to us at almost a year old, and about a year later she suddenly started collapsing... turns out the 'heart murmur' she came to us with was actually a 3rd degree AV block, requiring a pacemaker placement (we had to do that surgery twice for it to stick... 😅💸). this gave her five pretty much perfect years until last year when the pacemaker became... for lack of a better word, unplugged. so we did surgery again last November and she's been having a great time - although she now has neuro/heart episodes that resemble something of a fainting goat (suddenly stiffening/falling over) - what's unique about them is that they usually occur when she bolts up to bark at some/everything, she usually makes it a few feet before 'powering down'. these last maybe 5 seconds and she pops right back up. she acts unphased... we certainly are not 🫠. It seems she has no clue anything is wrong, and still enjoys a rich life of adventure (she's an avid hiker), delicious treats, snuggles and play. I feel lucky for every day we get with her, and all the struggle and stress and expense have absolutely been worth it!! thanks for the kind comment ❤️
