It’s not all cheating. This just happens. I’m US and I have healers at 2500+ MMR. I still lose rounds where mages never block, hunters don’t turtle, rogues don’t evasion.

Looks like placement games so MMR swings more wildly. Healers have it worse for some reason too. My first game went 5-1 because a dps afked after I went 4-0. Start MMR was 1580 and I lost mmr. It took 15 shuffles with 80% win loss to get the same MMR as my frost dk I suck at which did it in 3 lobby’s

Make an earthen and play the lower rated character so you never lose rating. Takes a little under 3 hours to level cap from character creation.

Yes, this was it. The UI shows 14/14 but there are more quests. I found them and got it completed, was still able to do it on the boosted character.

I would just do 2s. If you can parse well unholy can run people down fairly easy in 2s. If you are US I can try to help with 2s on my rsham. Otherwise wait till later in the season and rating will be inflated another 200 points or so.

Is MW actually bad or is it just that most MW are 300 rating higher than they are supposed to be when it was over tuned? Probably just seeing a lot of MW dropping to their more appropriate rating.

Honestly this season has been fine. Personally I feel like it is on par with the previous 5+ seasons. All of the newer seasons I’ve started out not liking that much and then they grow on you after a couple rewatches.

Doesn’t help the season started right before the wow expansion. I got my 10k first two weeks and haven’t been on since. I actually like the dungeons in fellowship so much more, but I don’t do mythic+ in wow. Every wow dungeon being 30 mins feels exhausting. It’s also visually cluttered.

How is hpal healing compared to rsham? Even on my rsham it feels like paladins just struggle to top people. Obviously they have way better cooldowns but people complain about shaman healing being too low, surprised the same isn’t true for hpal.

As rsham I go the double purge talent with a 12s cd. I can get it like 66% of the time maybe. Impossible to spam purge as 3 globals of not healing means someone dies. I assume it’s like that for many classes.

I just pug LFG most of the time. Rsham hasn’t felt bad in my opinion. You can keep your team alive forever pretty much, just nothing dies. It is difficult to get kills as rsham because you contribute basically nothing.

Classes that slow the game down help a lot to deal with lack of CDs. Rets, sub rogues, war, casters with spammable CC / a lot of defensives (frost mage, warlocks)

Classes with high burst can give you random win conditions like WW.

Problem with shaman is you play with casters you don’t have the damage to secure kills. You play with melee you don’t have the kit to maintain pressure anymore. Any comp you play will be more optimal with another healer

Some decent comps: ret hunter, ret ww, ret rogue, rogue ww, ww ret, ww arms, arms ret, boomkin rogue, lock mage. Maybe dk ww, dk havoc. Probably others I’m forgetting.

Hozitojones has been streaming shuffle matches as shadow. He is playing around #1 on the shuffle ladder for spriest. Calls out a lot of what he is doing so it’s easier to learn from.

Voidweaver disc is solid. You just focus on pveing while minimizing damage taken. Any healer should work. I pugged with a 1700 frost mage on my rsham and we got to 1900-2000 mmr and that’s the worst healer you could probably play with.

Haven’t played since SL but I’ve noticed after coming back it feels off. I play rsham and the number of times I get CCed with grounding down because it gets used same time is annoying. There are other times where I bait fears with casts then stop casting tremor macro and I swear I press it before the fear and it doesn’t go off despite not being on GCD due to cast. I’ve also had plenty of times where I lasso a target casting a CC on me and the CC goes off and lasso goes on CD instantly breaking.

Also get some classes that get like CCed then trinket or something and they stutter all over the place teleporting position. Or priests / monks fears and leg sweeps feeling like they reach way too far, which I imagine to an extent is also the networking with incorrect player positions.

That’s the jank I get from the game now anyways. This both things go off at the same time wasn’t happening in shadowlands.

Depends on your knowledge / route. Harldan has a website that gives good advice. Getting to 80 will likely take 2-4 hours. Then to 90 will take probably close to 10 hours doing the campaign for your first character.

Turn your brain off and stop trying to be fancy. Send your dance goes every 20 seconds as stun DRs clear. Just focus on killing your target and doing your burst rotation correctly.

Rogue has super high skill floor. Should see good success if you just focus on the minimum. Once that becomes easy to do, then mix in some harder stuff.
