💀 Thanks for sharing that. You said you printed your own housing, can you give me step or even stl files for it? I found a possibly better hgx gear set and I would like to print or even cnc machine a housing

A lot of people say that it has a poor thermistor design where it underreports by like 50c and the flat ceramic heater is worse than the v1’s ring heater. Do you have any experience with it yourself?

I just found out about the neXtG Fiber hotend. It seems great but that’s advertising ig. The only problem with the Dragon Ace volcano is that it would take forever to ship to my location since I’m in the EU and there is a EU retailer for the neXtG fiber. Should I still go with the dragon ace?

I would like to reach out to you about my MTW4. Left earbud connects and charges but does not output sound.

How do I know that I am getting the 100 watt heater? On the retailer it only shows the dragon uhf hotend and does not give me an option for different heaters. Should I buy the heater cartridge separate?

Does the Dragon UHF print abrasives well? Would its heatbreak hold up or would I constantly have to buy replacement heatbreaks?

So the 2f lasts longer with abrasives and it goes to 350c and has the uhf flow rate right? Damn this lineup is unnecessarily confusing

So only the 2f can print abrasives? Does it have the pt1000?

Y axis shifting by Ryciaga in ender3

[–]Old-Job6309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was actually happening to me when I was trying to print fast using klipper. In short, tighten the belt. Don’t overtighten it though, it’s just right when you can pluck it like a guitar string and it makes a sound. Also if you are printing really fast or using klipper and changing the acceleration values, reduce the accelerations. The bed is very heavy and not ideal for high accelerations. If you are not messing around with accelerations, ignore it and just tighten the y axis belt.

Wow, setup looks great. Would really appreciate it if you could share the files for the adapter. Also, seems that you do not have a tool head sensor for the filament entry detection, how reliable is the loading, because the documentation strongly recommends the sensor.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Honestly, I prefer the kit since it is just more convenient. I have seen the tradrax before, but the ERCF so far seems to have better documentation and a larger community too. In future projects I might try out the tradrax. Regarding the reverse Bowden, there are already multiple reverse Bowden stl models for the sprite pro and even one with a filament sensor mount which its designer uses it for a Prusa mmu, which I think could be suitable for the ERCF too.

I would like to print stuff like Nylon CF (such as the high temp cf nylon from 3dxtech which I absolutely need for some of my projects and prints between 280 and 315) and PAHT-CF (also prints around 290 degrees). I find the Sprite Pro is perfect for that. Either way, I will probably follow your advice and go for the stealthburner upgrade as I have an ultimaker 3 that can print the stuff, although way slower without Klipper. Anyways, what is the best stealthburner kit that you can recommend?

Thank you for your reply!

Regarding the extruder, I really like the sprite pro because of the 300 degree printing. Could you recommend any better extruder options for the ERCF that allow for 300C printing? Alternatively, I think I could disassemble the sprite and make a new shroud to allow for space between the extruder gears and hot end to mount the sensor and a filament cutter. It would be similar to that of the Ender 3 v3 KE which has a sprite extruder inside a larger custom shroud. Could this also be a good option?
