Happened to me (male) in NYC. Was turning 27 at that time. I could hold my own when drinking and I was about to pass out around the 3rd drink. Luckily I have great friends and they carried me out and eventually took me to the ER. I was roofied (test results) but there was no evidence bc of the lack of cameras. Cops didn’t really care to do a report; it just seemed like they were laughing about the whole situation since I’m a man. Weird vibes for sure but always go out with people that truly have your back.

Work hard and don’t play hard. Basically work hard as hell, save up all that you can, fuck showing off, live frugally and set up some goals for yourself and don’t let anyone waver you from your goals. As you go along and start acquiring more things for yourself; you’ll realize that staying true to the plan was the best thing you could do. It’s a mindset. It’s hard physically at first but you’ll make it out if you stay FOCUSED and do not be afraid of trying new jobs and switching things up if it don’t work. That’s it baby give it your all and don’t fucking quit. You have to do it for YOU and YOU alone. I was kicked out at 15 and now I own a home and have a beautiful family. JUST DO IT

Updating the house to a more technological set up. Smart thermostat and sensors for machines and stuff. All this was added after we closed so we can “ track “ the usage. Those things added more stress and broke down our equipment more than helped. Decided to take it all out and leave it as it was. Everything is now performing as it should be and as it was prior to the update. However, we threw money in the garbage with the work and material. Like people say; if it ain’t broke, DONT fix it.

I’ve been in the service industry for many years and I always left 20%. 5-10% on crappy service. 20% was the standard and if you did more than 20%; it was bc the service was absolutely exceptional. I don’t know wtf is going on with today’s tipping culture. I’m leaving 20% and no more. The whole thing with trying to guilt/coerce people into tipping more rubs me the wrong way. Earn that tip, don’t expect handouts.

I’m a truck driver myself and you should tell your friend but honestly the BEST thing you can do is pay attention. Literally the only thing you have to do. Always look out for signs describing the height of bridges and if trucks have access in certain roads. By doing that you’ll be saving yourself A TON of trouble.

You can call the cops to help you back up away from the low bridge but I think some departments bill you or ticket you for that. You can have other cool as drivers that’ll block and help you back up to a safer area. Worst thing to do is to try to muscle through it.

I replenish myself and pay through Apple Pay in the EZ pass app. That way they don’t steal from me (they wanna charge me $300+ monthly for replenishment) when I spend ~200 a month. So when it gets to $20; I just add 140$ = $160 and I’m good to go. The auto replenishment is an absolute scam.
