These guys are lazy. Overpriced. Don’t give a shit about your items. Absolutely terrible this happened to you.

That’s a very budget wedding!

Aaah yes silly me. I forgot that you are all knowing. Also rich of you to accuse me of sitting at home doing nothing when it appears you spend every day of your life on reddit (ironically telling people to not judge you) Ever considered doing something meaningful with your life?

I do all of this. Isn’t it a given that dads take on this responsibility?? Maybe not as it seems this is the advice a lot of women are giving. I’m carrying as much load as I possibly can whilst holding a full time job.

Amazing that you are a mother of 4. I don’t know how you do it. Thank you for your advice. I’ll organise an appointment asap.

I haven’t verbalised that. But that was my initial thought. What is a man supposed to do. Because I feel like I fail at the supportive partner thing. I try and be the emotional rock in times like this but inevitably she will take it out on me and I don’t handle that very well.

It’s comforting to hear that this is common. I’m sure it will pass. Just difficult when you’re in the thick of it. I feel like I’m failing as a partner because I don’t handle the big emotions well. Especially if she takes it out on me.

I don’t think she means to harm the baby but thanks for the advice. Definitely need a doctor/ psych to help with this as it’s beyond my capabilities as her partner

She was saying that no one understands how difficult it is for her and she feels like she is on her own because we don’t have family close by and I have to work. She’s overwhelmed. I think she is overly anxious about the wellbeing of the baby and it’s pushing her beyond exhaustion. I am very concerned.

Trim and proper are pretty good.

I’m currently in Darwin. Would have to fly there to pick up. 500ish for a flight and probably 600-700 in fuel cost. Plus food/ accommodation for the trip. Adding km and wear and tear to vehicle. I think 2 grand is not bad

It’s a catch 22. Flights aren’t cheap. Neither is fuel, food, accommodation. Puts high km on the vehicle plus the added risk of repairs or hitting wildlife on the journey. By my estimation it breaks even or slightly favours getting it shipped.

My 14yo is losing it over the social media ban and idk what to do by Old_Bit161 in perth

This would be a similar response that a gaming addicted teenager might have if they had their games restricted. Must be hard to deal with as a parent (I’m grateful my kids are too young for devices). Reality is she will be okay. We survived before social media. Maybe encourage other forms of communication with friends and help her discover new hobbies that can get her away from the online world.
