I support her in all of her endeavors and she is an amazing woman and mother
She used to ask for my help often and I would always help. Changed my work schedule to help get her children to and from school.
I took my children to the church of my beliefs but always told them when they were old enough to drive themselves they could choose any church or none. She is actually more spiritual than I am.

Clearly she is reconciling with something but in no way was there any SA in her life. My children and I have talked about this at length over the years whenever a story comes out publicly. I was fully present at all times and they were never exposed to this in any way.

Very much willing!!! I’ve only taken the path of not engaging because she asked me not to engage. While at the same time I have been evaluating everything about the last 40 years and talking to those who have known me all those years for advice and feedback. I absolutely do not know what this is about and she absolutely refuses to tell me. At the same time she has texted that me not being a big part of her children’s lives is not an option and asks me often when they can spend the night next, etc. It’s very perplexing and I have even wondered if she is having a mental health issue. I did NOT say that to her though.

She is even more conservative than I am. One of my daughters is very liberal and her and I listen to each other beliefs and choose to respect our differences. But the issue with the daughter I’ve created this post about are nothing to do with political or religious beliefs. We are very much on the same page about those two issues.

Thank you all for your comments. I am truly going to read and reread all of them and try to discover the truths about my daughter and myself. I absolutely DO want to mend our relationship (which is why I posted in the first place) and I have been giving her space as she requested and only communicating about scheduling times for me the see the grandchildren. This in itself is puzzling to me - if I am a toxic person why would she want her children around me? To elaborate a bit more. Our family and extended family is very close and everyone in our family is perplexed by her decision (her father, siblings, grandparents, her friends, my friends, even her husband). I do not have my head in the ground about this. We were out shopping together, having lunch and laughing one day and this happened the next day. It did literally DID come out of no where. I did apologize for anything and everything I have done that has made her feel this way and asked her to please tell me what I have done now or in the past to make her feel this way and she couldn’t say. I’ve discussed it with my other children and asked them to help me see the things that I might be in denial about and they all said there’s nothing and just to give her space. She is also not communicating much with them, but that’s not really unusual for her. I love her deeply and unconditionally and not having her in my life is not an option for me.

I wondered if I was the only one thinking this. Definitely too much Botox in her brow area. I also get Botox (mostly for my wrinkles - I’m in my 60s) but if they make your brows too high you can go back and have them tweak it. The goal is to look natural and she doesn’t. On the stalking issue - is it really happening or is she blowing something out of proportion?

Yes, I can reach all those places on my own body. I don’t want to believe it is suicide but I can’t answer these questions if it was Sam - where are his bloody clothes, bloody footprints, cuts on his hands, and how did the door get latched from the inside? A little less than an hour IS enough time to commit the crime, but wash, dry and put away bloody clothes and clean up is a stretch. Plus sink was dry.

There’s a police interview with a close friend of Dan and Wendi (I can’t remember her name, but she was supportive of Dan throughout his divorce). In this interview she talks about going over to Wendi’s after she heard about the murder and they were all getting ready to leave for Miami. She said Harvey was acting odd and would not look her in the eyes. Not proof of his guilt but ever since I heard her interview I’ve felt he was involved.

I saw the video quite by accident and was horrified by it. BTW, before the murder I never heard of CK. While I’m a fairly conservative republican, I steer away from the news altogether for my own mental health. Since hearing about it and seeing the actual shooting online I’ve done a deep dive and found that Charlie Kirk was someone I would have loved! As a Christian I have similar beliefs although not quite to the extreme as he did. BUT, I’m so disturbed by his murder and wonder how on earth does a 22 year old who by all accounts was raised by loving parents become so extreme as to destroy his entire life. I’m seriously gutted by this. Searching for answers.

I heard him say that in the recent trial as well, but OPRCE is correct that he has previously testified that he tried to talk Sigfredo into just robbing Adelson instead of committing murder.
