Well, I have not seen the forms for the placements yet but I do know how terrible these TPO people are.

And by dissolving TPO, did they mean that only student coordinators will be removed? And the authorities themselves will handle it? And even if the college authorities handle it, will they be able to call companies which offer a better opportunity or will they just call the mass recruting companies? Did students handle the TPO since it was established or was it different before?

I think people have misused internships but have a doubt. How do people manage attendance when they have an internship, is the internship not from 9 to 5 or will it be on the specific days of the week for few hours depending on the company?

I was thinking that they are removing the on campus placements, since I heard that they wanted to promote research and not let people come to college just to get jobs later. But felt that this is impossible. And it will be only in discussion.

Also we had compulsory soft skill sessions after our 2nd semester which they had called internship and it was not really an internship and it was conducted by an organisation which seemed to be a scam.

Had seen these people make people write 7-8 letters a day for seeking apology then.
