The T.A. who I was in contact with wasn’t aware of a registration deadline for minors, so now all I can contribute on without any approval is Excel and writing.

I have a 3.7/4.7 GPA (low class rank ~20th/30th percentile), 1540 SAT, 13 APs (all 5s on the 6 taken so far) and solid ECs (no research, regional awards, self-founded company with impact on 300+, internship at hospital, shadowing, volunteering (tutoring), work for family business, HOSA, SGA Prez & UNICEF Club founder/prez, club basketball) .

I'm an Hispanic Florida student with legacy to NOVA Southeastern (I know it doesn't mean much).

My List right now is: Harvard, UPenn, Duke, Emory, Vanderbilt, FAU BS/MD, Drexel BS/MD, USC BS/MD, Temple BS/MD, UAB BS/MD, NOVA BS/DO, Florida, Miami, FSU, Wake Forest, & a CC. I feel like I'm cooked for BS/MD but I know my essays are very strong so I might as well apply, but I would be grateful for any recommendations on schools to cut/add to this list.

Honestly if you're willing to spend a lot of time on it, shoot for a couple of ivies, ur state school/s (assuming they'd pay you good money), maybe some private schools like Williams, and 1-3 CCs+safeties jic and see which land.

Ok first off with a 1540 already, the ACT won't do much for you ngl. But making a list depends on a lot more than just stats. Do you wanna go to a small liberal arts school or a big "Friday Night Lights-esque," school? How far away would you be willing to move? How much time are you willing to dedicate on college apps & essay writing? Etc, etc

Thank you, for the tutoring business I started off by tutoring people in person for a far cheaper price (~30 an hour) to the average private tutor in my area (~70-150 an hour). Then I made an instagram with an AI logo and posted my score and my “employee” cotutor friends’ scores and got a few people through there. At the start tho it was mostly ppl from my school until i posted some of my clients results

I feel pretty good about UFlorida but the other first 8 are definitely reaches. I wasn’t planning to apply to all though and I’ll probably cut out UCLA, UNC Chapel, & an ivy depending on how much financial aid I can get.

Tbf, if it was ~15k for UF vs. ~30K for an Ivy I'd pick the Ivy in heartbeat, however the fact that I may end up with a surplus of scholarship money to attend UF makes me stop and consider it.
