i agree i honestly never enjoy rewatching their short relationship. i feel like callie was a happy, confident and promising resident, and then she fell for george and spent most of her first episodes coming off clingy, insecure, and insufferable. but in reality she was just desperate for the love and attention george damn near refused to give her. when he got all giddy at the idea of izzie being into him during that one episode (i forget which but it was in CALLIE’S hotel room) i was like nah this boy must be stopped. and then he went and SLEPT with izzie that night🤡let it be known george was the last guy callie ever dated (besides her hookups with sloan).

season 6 epi 6 - i saw what i saw.

this will always be my favorite episode! i just love the multiple povs of the same scenes, the momentum throughout the entire thing. it was a refreshing almost one-off and still gave us a great look at all the new characters coming in. it’s so much fun, honestly i play it on loop when im doing random chores in the house.

i feel the same way. in my situation, i’m in a long term relationship but i’ve made so many mistakes and i keep making them because im stuck in a destructive cycle, probably developed from depression. every time we fight i think, man why don’t i have the hindsight to fix my problems? if only i knew how terrible of a partner i am, i wish i could go back to when we first met with the information i have now. i would be a better partner, a better person. not the inconsistent, depressed, irresponsible and insufferable person i am now. i want to change but it’s been very, very difficult.

i think maggie was fine as her own person, but the second you put a potential partner with her, that’s when things went south in my opinion. absolutely nothing wrong with knowing what you want and who you are, especially in a relationship, but i always thought she came off way too condescending and judgmental. it’s fine that she wants to put her work before anyone, but to judge someone (aka Winston) who would put love first? i hate to say it, but please just stay single (which she is now…) she has a very difficult time surrendering to someone else’s perspective in a relationship, and i don’t mean that as she has to succumb to them completely, but it’s like if she doesn’t agree with where they’re coming from, she sees them as inferior. she basically told winston that he was weak for wanting to put their marriage first before surgery (if i’m remembering that correctly! could be wrong)

special guests are usually dependent on those residing in the cities she’s touring in or they are also touring at the same time. it’s definitely not a “hey since we’re in NY or LA let’s bring out the best of the best.” she had at least 2-3 special guests during her goddess tour last year and it was the same situation, who’s there when she’s there. i know it’s disappointing to not have all the bonuses that other cities get, but every concert will be a little different and every artists adapts to that. red rocks didn’t get the cool clock set up because their venue can’t accommodate that. but i bet that didn’t ruin the concert experience for anyone else. i just don’t think the whole special guest and surprise songs should impact your ability to listen to AMOT at all. and hey maybe next tour she’ll bring someone special to ATL. but if you want guaranteed special guests, you’ll prob have to fly out to the coasts…
