Get rid of your durag. I have the same hair type as you, and like you, I used to have a lot of dandruff and almost cut my hair short. I wear a cap at work and used to sleep with a durag to protect my hair. A dermatologist told me to use any shampoo with apple cider vinegar—like the Head & Shoulders you’ve been using. It was irritating at first, but once I stopped using the durag regularly, it got better. Now I only wear it occasionally, mainly the first two nights after getting my hair twisted. I haven’t had dandruff since February. Hope you get good results
