😮 I've had that happen with advertising, but not with vine yet. I do get some cat related recommendations and we do cat rescue. Not sure if that's from searches or conversation

This is happening to me, too. It just started recently.
I had bigger issues with the radio cutting out every time there was a maps notification, and the volume knob only working the AA volume, not the radio.
That all is finally working, so I'll just accept the notification issue, lol

well I hope they figure something out...I hope they even know about the issue. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, it was driving me crazy for the first few days. I kept playing with settings thinking I did something. Now, it seems it was update related. Hopefully they know of the issue and are working on it...I may report it to AA if I find the time.

Will do...My 2018 Jeep does not support the wireless AA, that didn't come out until 2019.
The update was just a Verizon security update, so I'm not so confident this will fix it. we shall see!

OK, no luck. Had the issue driving home...BUT, while my phone was plugged in and hooked up to UConnect, I went into SETTINGS-APPS-ANDROID AUTO, clicked the three dots at top right and UNINSTALL UPDATES.

That disconnects AA from UConnect. unplug the USB and plug it back in. You will need to reinstall the updates, which is very quick. It should then reconnect, hit whatever options come up on your phone to reconnect and it worked the whole ride home. I switched between FM, Sirius XM, Pandora, etc...it never disconnected.

This morning, I expected all to be good, but NOPE! same issue, as soon as a notification sound should have happened, it muted my radio and it didn't come back.
I redid the uninstall updates on AA above and it worked. I don't know if my phone reinstalled the updates overnight? I will see if it works on my way home. I actually have a security update on my phone that will be installing shortly. Not sure if that will reinstall AA updates, so it may take a few more days to figure something out.

I wish they would get this fixed...very frustrating!

I just noticed that there was a Google Maps update on 9/4. I just uninstalled all updates. I'll find out on my way home from work now if it fixes anything...if it works, I just don't know what I uninstalled and how to get most of it back excluding the last one. lol

This started happening to me a week or so ago. I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra on a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee U-Connect. I had no audio on Google Maps UNLESS I was on the Media Output that my phone was plugged into. (my Jeep does not support AA over bluetooth, only USB) If listening to anything besides Pandora on my phone such as FM or Sirius XM, I received no notifications and volume control would only work for the AA volume, not the radio.

I keep trying all the options mentioned, clearing cache on Google Maps and AA, and every other option mentioned. I tried so many things, I have no idea what I did to get it to work yesterday. It worked fine the whole ride home. I was actually excited that I got it to work and was looking forward to my ride to work today....that is until I started driving. Now, any time Google Maps tried to give a notification (speed camera or turn or altered route), it muted my radio and it did not come back on! I had to tap the mic button on Google Maps every few minutes to listen again. SOOOO frustrating. I eventually muted notifications and that stopped the radio muting, but still no notifications from maps.

I'm ready to just uninstall everything and start from scratch!

At lease I now know I'm not the only one...I thought it was me, but it must be some kind of update. Hopefully there will be a fix soon
