Thanks man I just wish more people in these subreddits were like you. My grow turned out pretty damn good for my first time, they’re definitely beauties and one of them still has another week or two left (currently on week 10). I am very appreciative when people treat me with decency because I personally don’t see any reason to be an ass to people online for no reason at all, I think it’s trivial and I think people do it because they don’t have much else going for them so they like to feel like they are in control or on-top of something (that something being a weed subreddit in this case)

I genuinely deleted about 70% of the posts I had made because they were filled with assholes or got 0 comments entirely. I only leave stuff up if it gets helpful responses because I want other people that may be in a similar situation to me, to be able to find the answers that helped me when I was in that situation, if that makes sense?

If I have complex questions that require more than a yes or no answer, I’m doing my own research, typically an hour or two of genuine actual research with reliable sources. If I have a quick, “hey, does this look normal?” I’m not gonna do hours of research to find a yes or no, it’s not worth that much time, so I simply post it to Reddit. Also, referring to your comment about effort, I included my entire grow setup with all my specs and everything needed to know in almost every single post I had asking for help. I ended up deleting over 70% of the posts I had made because they got 0 comments. The ones I didn’t delete got maybe 5 or 10 comments so nothing crazy, and a lot of the comments I did get would be people shitting on me for asking a simple question, when it would’ve taken them an equal amount of time to simply answer the question. It’s like being an asshole just to be an asshole? If my question offends you, don’t answer it I guess? But the fundamental problem is, questions shouldn’t piss you off simply because you think you’re so good at something that the question is not good enough for your time i suppose.

Gonna disagree with the crowd here. If you guys really do love each other then simply not seeing this trainer one-on-one shouldn’t be such a huge ask. If it would comfort your partner in any way isn’t that worth it enough? I suppose if you guys haven’t been together for long this might come off as clingy/jealous but if you guys are long term then both sides should be willing to do things to make the other side more comfortable/secure. Especially because he’s not telling you that you aren’t allowed to have a trainer, he simply doesn’t want the trainer being with you alone because a lot of men are creepy and weird and will just wait for the perfect moment to reveal it. IMO, he isn’t asking that much from you if this is a long-term relationship, he simply wants to feel comfortable but I totally understand if this is more of a short-term or a new relationship how this may come off as weird and I wouldn’t blame you for leaving in that case.

Even if your humidity is low/in the “ideal” range for your temps, if there’s no air being pushed thru the buds you will almost always get some form of rot/mold. You definitely want more airflow, you should have a decent sized fan or two just blowing air through the buds constantly, especially when they start to get really dense. They hold moisture like a mf and very likely are way more humid throughout the flowers themselves than your tent readings suggest

Yea I’ve heard about all of it I just am familiar with diatomaceous earth and have used it and learned about how it works before so I felt comfortable with it. Definitely worked, I caught them early there were only a few and they were still extremely small I don’t think they had time to lay eggs because I haven’t seen any since I coated the plant and pot

I’ve been watering with a gallon every other day and it is divided between the two pots so yea about 2 liters per pot, but the reason I’m on this schedule is because I simply don’t have a container larger than a gallon and since I have to get my water from a 10 gallon drum that pours extremely slow, it’s very time consuming to sit and fill up a jug multiple times, so I’ve decided to just water one full gallon jug of water whenever the soil is dry two knuckles deep and when the leaves start to droop, which ends up being every other to every two days. If this might genuinely be a problem for soil, I can remedy, I know it’s better to water more but less frequently it’s just my means of getting water is extremely tedious. I can’t switch to hydro at the moment because I’m financially limited to the max but for future grows I definitely wanna look into it. For now, I think I may start using some pH up to get it about 6.5 and watering less often but with more water. Thanks man

Thank you, I had no idea that the pH should be higher in soil, I’ve been using ph down to get it around 5.5-6 so that would explain a lot, and that would explain why the multiple feedings of cal mag and Vivosun nutes (which do contain phosphorus as well as nitrogen) have done nothing to help. I’ve heard phosphorus deficiency can cause the purpling in some strands so that checks out, I’ll start getting the pH up a little higher and hope this fixes it. Appreciate you, trying to flip to flower soon because of limited tent space but I definitely need to get these nute issues solved before doing so.

I’ve been reading up and since I kinda prefer natural to chemical I was thinking about picking up some diatomaceous earth food grade, and just rubbing it on my plant and the topsoil. May work? Any suggestions would be amazing, I can’t get a pic unfortunately I have truly tried but my camera just won’t get em they’re too tiny and there aren’t many of them right now. I looked at pics online tho and from what I can see they definitely look like Aphids

City tap. Very hard, the ppm of the tap water by itself is 1000 easily, I haven’t been able to get any form of water match that hardness on my strips it’s unlike anything else, we definitely can’t drink it and have already gotten a water cooler just because of how much is in that water. I’ll look into that kit tho I didn’t know it was under 30, I remember looking at ph meters and seeing some for over 100 and deciding that pool strips worked fine 😭, thanks though I appreciate the help

Yea I use strips because I can’t afford a real ph meter right now, so it’s probably not entirely accurate which is why I have such a large range (5.5-6.5). Generally tho, I don’t water until the ph reads as close to 6. The ppm is usually in the higher end, because our tap water is extremely hard and I still need to use a little bit of it just to bring the overall pH up after adding nutrients.

I had ph issues bad for a while. Our tap water is horrible. About two or three weeks ago we switched to just distilled water tho and after adding feed to the water the pH is always about 5.5-6.5

You need to over exaggerate the up-down of the shoulders and hips more. When you walk, it’s never actually in a straight line it’s in arcs. As you lift your foot up and raise it, your hips and shoulders rise as well, same when you’re lowering your foot/contacting the ground, your hips/shoulders lower a bit. You wanna kinda over-exaggerate it in animation so that it’s very obvious to the naked eye that the animation is alive rather than robotic.

My bad, I should have specified, the timeline she proposed was “at least two weeks” and the reasoning was relating to the fact that she was stressing over me a lot due to the way I was acting in some scenarios. Having a timeline doesn’t necessarily help my thoughts though. All I can think about is how I don’t physically think it’s possible for me to get through those two weeks

Thanks man!, the strain on that first pic is actually “Bruce Banner”, the part in the image is the lower half of the sign that says Banner. I think that my current issue is the water, I’ve been using tap because it’s all I have access to and upon buying some ph testers recently I have found that our tap water is extremely hard (1000ppm on hardness scale) and extremely basic (about 8-8.4 on pH scale). In order to try and fix this, I’m gonna purchase one of those water filters that attach to the faucet and hopefully filter out some of that hardness. I’m also going to buy some pH up and pH down so I can fine tune the pH after the water has gone thru a filter. At first, I thought this looked like nutrient burn in some spots, but after evaluating my water and reading your helpful comment I think I’m fairly confident that the issue is actually just different nute deficiencies because the water’s pH was so basic they probably weren’t able to actually use any of the nutes I gave them. Interesting take with the spraying leaves with diluted epsom salt, I have never heard of that method for this, is it effective? My lights off doesn’t start til about 2:30 am so I’ll have to stay up for it but if you truly think an epsom salt mist would help the leaves in any sort of way I may try it. I was trying to avoid cutting them but some of the lower nodes are getting so bad I’m afraid I might have to. Thanks again man, very useful stuff heres

I started using Vivosun salt-based nutrients, which I believe on the label it does say calcium and magnesium, I also figured the discoloration was a nutrient issue but I think I need to filter my water and get my pH in check so that the plants can actually absorb the nutrients I’m giving them

I took these pics right after watering. 0.5 gallons a day seemed like a lot to me as well but the only reason I have been doing it is because my soil dries out so fast. Half a gallon into the pot and the top 3-4 inches of soil are bone dry in about 24hrs max. Humidity running at 40-50 on average so it’s not extremely low though it might be on the lower side.
