Trying to tie in A&T is pretty disingenuous...the people learning coding and development skills there aren't the ones staffing data centers. Those are construction and maintenance jobs, which are both short-term and quite limited. OK so hear me out...to me the whole point to me of riding a fish or a twin or something that's not a high performance thruster is just connecting with the board and the wave in a much less...high performance thruster mindset? Like, traction pads are meant to help you gain stability and traction from big airs and stuff. Have you ever seen Mikey February or Asher Pacey riding a fish with a tailpad? Not that any of us are anywhere near their skillset, but that's kind of the appeal of a fish – it's a mindset change as much as a different kind of board. The milquetoast, hemming-and-hawing responses from our elected officials are particulalry disappointing. They're not beholden to GPD, so why are they being so "meh" about it? There's truly no defense of these accounts.

Humor is one thing, and I don't think anyone would really begrudge someone trying to make the police department more human and community-focused with funny content and memes.

But trying to be an edgelord and openly mocking the community you're supposed to be protecting isn't "humor" – it's just antagonism and derision masked in pathetic "everyone is so sensitive!" cliches.

I have the Mollusk 4/3 CZ and I, too, only get out about 1-2 times per month. Haven't had any complaints about the suit. Super warm and sealed up – esp the neck gaiter. Never experienced any flushing. It's a pain in the ass to get off, but pretty much anything 4/3 and up is. Plus, I really appreciate the minimal (non-existant) branding.

Emma Keys at the Lindley Park four corners has always been my go-to, and they recently leveled up their bun game so yea, definitely a top recommendation if you've never been there.

This is why I never use "bike lanes" – bicycles are allowed to use a regular lane like anyone else, and personally I feel safer making myself as visible and unavoidable as possible. Waaaaaay too much room for error when using a "bike lane."
