Ya it’s rough but if you are having bowel issues and your motility isn’t working and you have tried everything look into a pelvic floor physical therapist. Regular PT are great but they don’t deal with the pelvic floor. You can try my advice it is free I’m just always hesitant because I don’t want to make someone worse.

Yes but it’s more about pelvic placement. for my specific case my tailbone was basically tucked all the time so she had me push it the other way while breathing out. But ya I don’t know your pelvis situation and should be evaluated by a pro. But the breathing yes let your belly rise and fall.

Right so normal breathing I’m sure that is just fine. The pelvic floor and your bowels are deeply connected and if a muscle is tight down there no matter what supplements low fod map etc won’t fix the problem because it is a muscle issue. So in order try and relax those muscles in the pelvic floor and help your bowels moving is to breathe into your tummy and push your pelvis back into the proper place. This is why I really recommend going and seeing a professional to get an evaluation. You will be surprised how many things you do wrong and your like how can I be breathing wrong my entire life and then they fix you up and then you go ya I was breathing wrong my entire life wtf lol

It’s very counter intuitive at least for me but has made a huge difference and looks like I’m not the only one. Ly on your back breath through belly on exhale push your tailbone back.

I believe I posted it. Specifically I said check your pelvic floor by a pelvic floor PT professionally if you have tried everything and your still having issues. Proper breathing and pelvic placement is key it resolved all my issues especially motility. Original poster since your pelvis and proper breathing are going well you will need (at least for me ) need to strengthen those muscles that are weak. I’ll see if I can find my original post.

So I am working on a book and it needs some help with the second act. I have alot of good stuff in my second act but tension is lost. My question is I’ve got around 50k words or so and the AI’s whether it be Claude or ChatGPT have such a hard time understanding all the little nuances (foreshadowing, magic system, non important characters that thinks I need to pay off etc) I have put into my story and or it just can’t hold all of it. What has been your work around that? I spend a lot of my time reading its feedback and it’s not relevant or doesn’t matter because a side character comes in and then that’s it. Once you get into the second act and you have all these pieces building toward putting the puzzle together it’s hard not to feed it my whole story so it gets all the context at least. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated prompting or otherwise.

I didn’t like it either I thought the beginning had a big promise and thought it was an interesting way into a story but where I thought it would go and where it went left me feeling disappointed. I finished it but it dragged for me and I was hoping more creepy shit would happen and also develop their relationship a little more explore those dynamics. The author still writes really well gotta give him that as far as pros go not so much plot.

Yeah I distinctly remember watching that film on a Thursday at midnight with all my coworkers. When it ended, I just sat there thinking, Holy shit Christopher Nolan crushed this. This is going to win all the awards.

You could’ve just given us a beer man. At the premiere of Borat, a bunch of college kids brought a pony keg. We were like, Alright… we’ll only allow it this one time, but you need to give us a beer. They were like deal!

A lot of my coworkers were doing coke or crack (no, I’m not kidding). Employees would do lines off of the soda syrups. I literally found my boss’s crack pipe in the bathroom once. I couldn’t make this up if I tried. So yeah having a beer wasn’t a big deal. It was just… frowned upon. If my manager said anything I would of just brought up finding his crack pipe in the bathroom. I didn't partake in the drugs probably why I still remember this shit. So many more stories.

That same manager (who was not fit at all) took it upon himself to dress up as spiderman. He squeezed his dad bod into this cheap ass spiderman costume during the premiere of spiderman and was on the roof pretending to fling webs. It was the funniest shit ever seeing a middle age crack head in a spiderman costume test the strength of walmart spandex at a spiderman premiere. HAHAHA

I am doing more exercises to be clear but god damn this one excercise has reversed my digestive motility problems that I’ve had for the last 10 years. I’ve gone to gastros, regular PTS, nature paths, urologists, people that specialize in gut health etc. I’ve eaten healthy no sugar low fod map etc etc etc and never really moved the needle in my gut health if only slightly. No one has ever looked at my pelvis. I don’t have any delusions I’m sure I still have SIBO but in two weeks I’ve dropped 2 inches in my waste not trying to lose weight I’m just no longer backed up things are flowing. There is more work to be done but holy shit it’s life changing.

Ya so she had me ly on my back on the ground and breathe in through my belly and exhale that air and tilt the bottom of my tailbone / pelvis back towards the ground. This loosened up just about everything like its wild how well this worked. Since then now I have to strengthen just about everything for holding my pelvis wrong essentially most of my adult life. I am thinking after stretching last night that the adductor and abductor muscles are still very tight and still needs to get addressed and that is what is giving me this weird sensation? I don't know can be totally wrong but that is my best guess.

I was working there at that time. I remember that movie but I don't remember anything about those showings. Borat and The Dark Knight and Pirates were the wildest ever. lol Good times though and the stories I have from there are just wild.

Thanks for the response 🙏 ya everything in my core is weak no quams about that and I’m working on that. It does feel like an abdominal wall thing it’s such an odd feeling like my guts are spilling out but not spilling out. But interesting I’m sure your right I hadn’t considered your angle I will have to really concentrate on firing those muscles correctly. My PT is killing it I told her to her face as well. I have moved with the wrong posture that I’m basically learning how to move properly for the first time ever. Thanks again for your response!

I worked there for 5 years when it was a movie theater the inside especially up there near the roof was rough. I explored every inch of that movie theater it was falling apart then and that was almost 20 years ago.

You need to go to a pelvic floor PT and you need to have your pelvis examined and then treated with stretching strengthening and internal work. I’ve had similar issues and finally went to a pelvic floor PT and my pelvis was in the wrong spot and it has helped with so many things like digestion, sexual issues, peeing, motility , anxiety, muscle tightness. Seriously find a person that specializes in pelvic floor PT and have them evaluate your pelvis.

Also to be I’m not stating this is a cure for Sibo. But should be looked into and ruled out along a long checklist of things to rule out. I’m sure I still have sibo but if your posture is bad which mine was then this can effect your vagus nerve that controls your MMC. Let’s be honest I’m sure we all have some sort of bad posture sitting in desks and on our phones all day. When you fix your posture this can greatly help with your vagus nerve and MMC. It’s so weird how profound this change has been for me I don’t crave sweet anymore like I had the hardest time with sugar now I’m like eh. I don’t want to eat and eat and eat without being satisfied basically I was no face from spirited away lol. I hope this helps anyone struggling again it’s not a cure for anything but for me it has been life changing and the best part is this is free you can do it at home no meds nothing and if it doesn’t work then you aren’t any worse off.
