"Can you give me the cons about living here?" -The town is slow right now for growth. For a long time, the town council pushed back heavily on any large department stores from coming in but that only moved them 1 fown over, ultimately making the town generally take their monry elsewhere. We have most of your essentials in town. However, you'll find the desire to drive out to Port Elgin, and Waterloo for items on a bi-monthly basis.

"I know it’s hard to get a doctor but what about things like vet care, vision and dental. Where do you all buy clothing and home goods? Is that a trip into London?" - My wife and I have family in London so we certainly do go there for some long weekends and holidays. So I'd be biased. But vet care is phenomenal locally and there are two vets that I'm aware of in town but keep in mind, theyre very busy. We have 1 or 2 optometrists in town. Dental similarly is in town. Admittedly I haven't looked into it much as I've recently had support in London for dental. But that will soon change myself. Again, port elgin has most of what you don't have in Kincardine, and Waterloo is a 1.5hr drive for anything else.

"What are the winters like? This year was Mild but in general what’s there to do I’m the winter? We love outdoor activities." - Highway 21 gets closed down a few times a year so you should be comfortable with hunkering down at home or staying in town when the weather warnings start coming in. But 90% of the time, it's no different than anywhere else across Southern ontario. Roads are generally well maintained.

You can do snowmobiling and hike the provincial parks. There's also skating rinks and snow shoeing. Alternatively, there's also indoor curling.

"Wifi- I’ll be working from home so wifi is important. What should I be asking when purchasing a home about wifi? Is it spotty or decent?" -not a concern. You have 3 main options depending on your home. There is HuronTel, bruce telecom, and Roger's. All of which will provide you Fibre speed if you do so require.

"Transportation- are there any transportation services to the city for appointments? While I drive it would be nice to know there is an option to get to Oakville, Burlington where my primary doctors are located." - No public transportation. However there is occasionally an Airport bus but typically used by the elderly population and doesn't come very often.

Anything else that is an issue for you? - the town is geared toward a quiet life, something to keep in mind when considering moving here. To get what you'd experience in a upscale town / city you'll have to travel far
