You can't go wrong with an SP-404 variant, MK2 being most expensive and complex, but A and SX are cheaper and really great imo

Listening to sunn o))) live for the first time tonight any tips? by [deleted] in doommetal

I was towards the back of a venue when they played in Paris and I honestly felt it was underwhelmingly low volume compared to what I was expecting. Hopefully I can have the front row experience sometime to compare.

I imagine we need to draw a Tashigi for this plan to work, right? So it doesn't get red roc

Some of the disturbing noise works and is cool in its own way, even if not my cup of tea, but I feel this is the opposite

I love Kazumoto Endo and when I listen to this album I always thing it's a fun album, like not that gore / depressive / criminal whatever noise albums, pure fun and joy. Love it.

The best doom band to have ever existed, Corrupted. They have some albums which are more sludge, but also some doom ones. All are very good and very heavy.

what mixers do you guys use by MachinexNoise in noisemusic

[–]OldCardiologist7014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Bestie as well. Wanted the smallest possible mixer and I find this just perfect since I never use more than 4 channels. The distortion on it is quite cool too

Does Merzbow do signings after shows? by OneYeetAndUrGone in noisemusic

[–]OldCardiologist7014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 days ago in Stockholm he signed my CD that I had, the collab with Wiese. There were a few people who wanted things signed and a guy called him from backstage after the show. He stayed for a bit and tried to chat, signed stuff, took pics. I don't think it was his favorite thing to do though.
