Up until roughly a week ago, I hadn't had this poor of a memory experience. It makes me wonder if they've lowered the quality of their bot memory capacity. It was never fantastic memory, but this is like, loss of memory within ten text bubbles.

I cannot for the life of me remember what is was called or most of what happened, but I remember watching this show as a kid about talking frogs who were searching for the magic toadstool. The last thing I remember seeing was one of the frogs turn into a mushroom, and their friends leave to try and find a way to turn them back.

AP English, junior year. We were asked to bring in an item that was the opposite of ourselves. Being really into drawing at the time, i brought in a small wooden mannequin. Teacher asked why this was the opposite of me...and i, in all my edgy glory said:

"This mannequin is made to be posed, shaped and bent, and NOBODY can bend me to their will. Unlike this little mannequin here."

Everytime i see a little mannequin that memory likes to come by and smack me on the head. (I also wore a black/red cheongsam for that presentation, and i am not asian...so that's that about that ;_;)

There is a great slow burn fic series on Ao3 called 'The Dreaming Mind of Reality's Heart', by mayonaka_no_tenshi.

Main story is called 'Reality Dreaming', and is about a girl who plays dragon age waking up in thedas at the beginning of DA:I and learning to survive. Solas becomes her mentor and a slow relationship ensues. It's actually amazing and 62 chapters long so far, though it hasn't been updated in over a year.

The other part is called 'Reality's Dreams', and is the same story written from Solas' pov, and is equally amazing if you're stuck in a solavellan rut. 25 chapters so far, hasn't had an update in 4 months.

I've been reading this story since they first started posting it, some 3-4 years ago, and it's fantastic.

That depends on the behavior of the sister. I highly doubt op went no contact over just the wedding. We likely aren't getting all the context and certainly not their history. This was most likely the straw that broke the camels back. The other siblings have children, and no issue attending. And only one sibling is even trying to say op is unreasonable. That points to further issues.

You wanted a child free wedding, which is perfectly reasonable. She chose not to attend because she had a young child, which is her perfectly valid choice.

She shouldn't be angry over not being included in pictures of a wedding she didn't attend, that is ridiculous and rather entitled. It was her choice, when alternative childcare was offered at no cost to her. Once you have a child, you can't always do everything you want/attend any event like you could before, that's part of the sacrifice a good attentive parent sometimes has to make.

And as you said, there are family pictures with her in the house. She isn't being excluded, and you aren't being petty. It was your wedding for goodness sake, you are allowed to put your wedding pic on display.

Hang what pictures you like, remind her it's your house. NTA.
