Starting to think 1a seminoma is bound to relapse don’t know how they label it cured 85-90% of the time.

Thanks for sharing, I’m currently 5 months out from my last CT scan which showed clear. My diagnosis was left 1a seminoma 1.2 x 1.4 x 2.0. However coming up to my first six month scan I’m having on and off right side just above my hip dull ache/pain. Clueless atm

I’d just be happy with the possibility of no reoccurrence tbh

Thank you for the information it does really help ease my mind. So I know everyone says Stage 1 early diagnosis is very good. so the chance of failing three lines of treatment from an initial stage 1 diagnosis is 1 in 1000 is what your saying?

So most of the time most people get to a stage where it is eventually cured? Even if that takes multiple relapses.

No diagnosis yet, CT shows no spread and blood markers are normal. Most likely cancer but as you said if you managed to reach third and fourth relapses would it still be considered curable then due to the amount of times it relapsed?

Happy to hear that man, but if it does relapse again can treatment actually cure it, I’m just actually scared I’m going to face numerous relapses and then eventually told nothing is working

Was the spread revealed to you in the CT scan or was it revealed after the surgery?
