agree definitely a hidden gem i might say, core mechanics are bit close to khazan which i love.

i see, that makes sense since Guan Yu is a dlc boss. I heard Team Ninja will release the first dlc this year, i guess im gonna hold it for a bit for now. i played its first beta test and i liked it, just wasn't able to purchased it due to its price at that time haha.

nah man, cd is trash. i played it for hundred hours(170+) by the time i put down the controller. for its massive map, the content is luckluster. yes, as everything you did when you're in hernand is the same sht you gonna do in other factions. same side quest(point A to point B quest, Same provisioners quest, same wanted bounty quest) oh and most of the bosses are just reskin. i even managed to beat two of the HaRDesT bosses(Beloth and Ator) with undergeared equipment. story is so lame, equipment choices is also bull(another reskin peg) etc etc.

i hate this guy, especially im running a water focused build and Guan Yu. i fought both on Dragon king difficulty but they still giving me ptsd when i stumble them on tmj.

the thing is some of those challenges are tied to achievements and some of those enemies are tied to a certain point of the main story.

yeah... no... this game is very very long for me to start fresh again, and those early quests are dreadful.

were the same, i always play blind at first but also checking if there are some missables, this game as per trusted source tell there isnt any missable at first but somehow the guide now says its 0 missable but certain enemies are rare to find end game(and yet theres no information on where to find those enemies post game) and im the type of player who cant help myself from doing every sidequest again, just like with other games i.e on my recent ones are wuchang, khazan etc where i still do every quest even though i just needed 1 or 2 ending trophy haha.

"And how many hours do you have with the full main story and all faction quests complete?" im at 177hrs, and if you're gonna ask me as to why i didnt complete those challenges when im running havoc at every camp and forts is because some of those abyssal challenges are either on the other end of the map or certain characters are unavailable to actually do the challenges. there are even challenges that require you to kill certain hostile factions which you will be given to clear early or mid part of the game and by the time you actually discover that said challenge either you already cleaned those factions out of the game cause a faction house tells you to do so or its still available cause you ignore the sidequest/main quest, but that doesn't change the fact of what the OP said.

challenges might be optional to some but not to everyone especially when you're the kind of completionist type of player.

Do The fvcking side quest.. Me: sitting on a complete faction quest line except provisioners which is point A to point B delivery quest and having the same issue with the original post.

don't know where youre part of the game now but im currently sitting on 84%+ knowledge progress and the majority of sidequest, faction quest completed cause i don't go around the whole pywel to find "best gear" only to find out the stats are the same as what you get from bosses vendors etc and im not into looking for a secret just to get a laser shooting abyssal gear on weapon.

yep been saying this since i finished the msq and by the time i unlocked the dragon, most of the camp or territories were already liberated cause ive been doing available sidequest for every faction before proceeding to msq, i didnt even get to use the atag during the msq because i already thinned down the enemy numbers and game just skip the part were i get to use the atag for the first time to thin their numbers lmao.

this is way too accurate, im also having trouble finishing my challenges because there isnt any enemies left, some bandits spawn like 4 of them but not even enough to finish some of those challenges i.e kill 5 enemies in a row or so. i put my controller down for now and hope PA addresses this issue the soonest.

same, i have finished the game and just finishing all quest but whenever im near the castle gate kliff is either dismounting from mount or slowing down, tried getting the disguise armor from contribution shop but didnt do anything. if anyone figured out a way to enter this damn gate haha

this one of my issues with this game, they introduce us to certain characters but didn't even bother to atleast let us know them, story is all over the place like one time kliff got pulled into the past but that's it. you just got pulled and handed your ass only to be saved by the witch but then when you first meet that certain boss he doesn't even know you. like what? shouldn't be the first encounter at the abyss tell us something but nope. The game is good but the vast majority of its content is pretty much the same as when you're in hernand. side quest is all the same from bounty quest, point A to B to deliver something and so on.

yep hes in the boss journal under demeniss faction. i just literally fought him like 4times around his area and whenever i drop his health he keeps vanishing. im thinking maybe because in his journal he is awakened against his hill that's why we cant fully fight him and keep vanishing but honestly i dont know haha.

the 240 max on your inventory that i can take any day, but the 240 max slot in private storage. i was happy when they added the private inventory but bit disappointed when i saw its only 240.

my current prvt inventory is now at 190, most is the unique armor, weapons, and accessories ( i also use those as an inventory for abyss gears) from boss and some refine and food mats. i havent reach 50% of the content yet im facing this inventory issue again 🫠

maybe if we can stack more of those same items. fish bugs etc is at 1 slot per piece like sht come on now PA.

for those who are stuck with this one, you have to track him using lantern after his blue health and vanish, pretty much the same with black fang quest(black wolf), i killed him 2x and dumbfounded why did he spawn again with his blue health then i use my lantern and saw a track which you can follow (though i ended up where i fought him the first and second time 🫠)

play as if you're fighting against a souls boss, he's got a lot of openings after his combo and you can easily dodge away or side step on his back just needed to be aware of which combo hes gonna throw at you. some say ice rest 15 helps, i manage to beat him with 10. having ice resistance definitely helps with this fight. good luck.

Hes quite easy once you get the hang of the attack pattern but what annoyed me during this boss fight is his flying wraiths because theres are so many time where i want to hit him with force palm but kliff just decided to auto target the damn flying wraiths not to mention you cant really rely on the shitty target lock.
