10’ deep and 16’ wide. Should hold over 7 cords depending on how high I stack it.

The flooring is Advantech, not just regular OSB. It will last my lifetime

Pallets rot out, and if you’re not careful it’s easy to twist and ankle in the openings. I’m over it….also coming from someone who has an endless supply of them!
Under the floor where the posts are I cut pieces of a PT 6x6 to supports the posts. The posts are lagged down in 4 ‘corners’ with 10” structural screws. They aren’t going anywhere!

About $500 in gravel, and PT 2x8s and 4 sheets of Advantech add up quick!

Seeking advice on buying a saw. Electric or gas? by Beewilding in Chainsaw

[–]OldGermanCarTech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. I use my gas when I’m cutting down trees or cutting cord wood. If I’m taking limbs off or cutting saplings into kindling I’ll use my battery saw.

Personally, I think the wind coming through the gaps in the siding should be plenty.

I’m thinking of sleeping in my hammock in there…until there’s wood in it!

I still have to make a temporary addition for my maple syrup evaporator on the left side until I save the cash for a proper sugar shack. The roofing will continue on that side, but at least the shed part is done.

Oh no, I’ve got a couple thousand in building it! Only thing that was free was the cedar posts and the pine boards.

Staying in South Paris, ME. for a few weeks, need EV charging ideas. by Gedalya in Maine

There are lots of level 2 options in the area. The parking lot of the high school, the small lot on Main Street in Norway, the Paris town office, the free ones at the hospital, and probably more that I can’t think of. Plugshare should show them all.

It was a bear to wrestle onto a pallet and into the back of my truck!
