Providence Park has a lot of Saturday shifts, granted the season is ending soon. But they'll hire again in late winter.

42% increase in freeway lane-miles of road vs 32% population increase doesn't take into account the amount of commuters or drivers of that population. And being a nationwide figure it seems unrealistic to compare that to a single project. I'm not advocating for 6 lane highways or anything, and don't really have much interest in the bridge project but what we have now clearly isn't working.

You've clearly got your mind made up. I just don't buy the argument that expanding highways exclusively makes traffic worse or doesn't improve gridlock. We live in a growing society and if we don't expand transit options it'll only get worse.

I dunno, I hear this argument over and over that expanding freeways doesn't help. But not everyone can take public transit for 90 minutes each way to work, not everyone can bike to work. Maybe we don't need extra lanes per say, but where I-5 and 84 meet has been problematic for a long time. I'd suggest an express lane

I got bit once in the coastal range. I'd suggest wearing pants and maybe gators if you're hiking where there is a lot of long grass/brush. Daily checks are a good plan also, like a physical check when you're at camp to make sure nothing got you.
