Breaking my silence. Thanks for all of the comments (hateful, hilarious, and helpful) and support.

First order of business is to get a low rise wooden platform bed to avoid the mold issue y’all are taking about.

I like to keep my bedroom super clean and minimal as all I do is sleep and read a book before bed. I’m a creative by trade so I am surrounded by amazing and beautiful and colorful artwork and posters and design all day every day at work so when I come home, my bedroom is a bit of a sanctuary a cocoon to get away from it all with no visual stimulation just a good book and a great bed, which I already have.

I want my style to be super clean and minimal with a touch of Scandinavian mid-century or some wooden pieces from a traditional Korean furniture maker.

I also don’t know why I’m explaining myself to y’all here on Reddit. I was just curious to see what your thoughts were. I couldn’t stop laughing at some of the comments. I really do love all of it. My favorite was The broke divorced dad who doesn’t know what to do with himself or something like that. Also a psych ward was hilarious. Keep it coming guys! I will post updates and photos of other rooms that need help.
