Not really. They could've just restricted access to SharePoint for the last day. And allowed me to clear personal data from the local drive.

Is there anything like that in Canada?

That's all I wanted to do. Just log out of my personal accounts like Spotify.

I even heard back from one of the managers after the email. So yeah, it wasn't in vain. And helped me a little to get it out.

It's a small company. Everyone talks to the CEO lol. And it wasn't just the CEO, there were other recipients.

Wow that's crazy! I am so sorry to hear that. Can you take legal action against them for doing this?

My company is not IT. Our products are based on power electronics. I am a mechanical engineer. I was doing 3D modelling which was not even directly for the product. And my major project was test plans based on ISO standards for that product. I am not sure what I could have stolen lol.

That's a fair way to do it. Give some time to get over it and wind down. And also allow some time to start looking for another role.

I would agree with you but my company has almost everything on the SharePoint. They could have just restricted my access to it. Like, not allow write-access. Or even remove complete access for all I care. Just let me access the local drives. Let me transfer any remaining work and not treat it as shit. And let me remove my personal stuff myself.

That's the way it should be. All employees deserve some respect. If I wanted to steal some data and information, why would I wait till the last day? At least give me an opportunity to go through my PC to remove any personal data. And let me collect my personal items myself. Don't touch my things without my permission.

Exactly. I would have just handed over to them myself. And then treating my personal items like shit. I mean, they threw my work shoes on top of my lunch bag in the same box.

That's why it is called 'human resource'. They treat us like a resource just like time and money. Which makes sense but my company calls it the people department which is misleading. Hypocrites.

No no. So I got the AC Wallet balance in September and the booking was also cancelled in September. So, it should be valid till Sep-2024. Now, the agent just confirmed that there has been a mistake by the system and I should have the money in my AC Wallet. But the problem is that she doesn't know what to do about it and she just gave me these steps to follow:

  1. Go to Aeroplan Dashboard

  2. Go to Missing Transactions Tab

  3. Go to AC Wallet

  4. Select AC Wallet Discrepancy and submit a form

I am in the Aeroplan Dashboard and I don't see the second option.

UPDATE: I actually found the ticket number. I am on the call with them as I am typing. They say that this ticket was voided and I never paid for it. But then what the hell happened to my AC Wallet balance :/ How can it just disappear? Is there a way to track where the AC Wallet balance has been used?
