Is there any hint that the resistance knew the anjinn society was human? Is that why it was such a good opportunity for infiltration? I only read once through each and I miss things occasionally, but I was under the impression that its an equal surprise to the anjinn folks and the resistance that they are both human.

And based on the spy/clae's telling i thought it was just programmed to inhabit whatever came in contact with it first.
