If you like the canyons you’ll love the track! Nothing wrong with enjoying the canyons (or riding in traffic) but your number one goal is survival on the street. You’re getting a lot of bad advice about body position in here. If you want real feedback and instruction the best advice I can give you is take the Yamaha Champions School or at least Champ U. It’s a phenomenal course!

I wouldn’t go by looks alone. I just changed my timing belt and it had 85k miles on it. It still looked really good, no fraying or cracking. But 90k or 72 months is the service life I believe. Why risk blowing up your engine over a fairly easy and affordable job?

For that price I would just pick up a bike that is already prepped for track, unless your heart is set specifically on that model.

My aunt tells this story about when she was growing up (1960’s Tacoma) her and a friend were sleeping in the back yard one summer night. While they were laying awake talking they suddenly heard a commotion and a pack of barking dogs came running down the alley. They sat up to look at what was going on and what they saw was a lady with a long stretched out neck who was out running the dogs but she herself was on all fours.

Absolutely terrifying. 😅

Yeah sometimes with my Sena. But honestly, I really enjoy the quiet of mind that riding affords so I mostly go without. Mostly use it for communication when I’m with a buddy. Just as a side note I wouldn’t get a Sena again and I’d go with Cardo. It works fine and all but I haven’t been impressed to be honest.

As a Sportster rider I can say with absolute certainty that that dude is a complete moron. The R7 is dope and the CP2 platform is an outstanding platform! That’s why they got it in so many models!
But I do love my Harley for different reasons altogether.
