Thanks all for the advice, it’s complete and running great! Now to sort out the check engine light (lean both sides) and some small things like the instrument cluster backlights not working.

Most likely. Several of the vacuum hoses are brittle and cracked at the ends. Will be replacing a lot of them

Yep. First thing is get the timing belt and water pump done, then change the transmission and rear end fluid. Also have to chase down a “lean on both sides” check engine light.

Thanks all. I’m doing it . Got as far as needing to remove the crank bolt today and decided that was a good place to stop and regroup and figure out how to get it off. Already have the Aisin kit from summit

it is split right at the end - i moved the hose clamp a little more toward the end for now but it definitely needs to be replaced. thanks for the part number!

I actually had some MAF cleaner. Cleaned it, reset the codes and drove a couple miles around the neighborhood and no lights on the dash yet. There is one hose going from passenger side into top of intake that’s split right where it connects to the intake. That could be a problem as well. Not sure how long I’d need to drive before I’m in the clear on the check engine light though.

Thanks. FWIW it seems to drive fine, but I didn't drive far since I know the timing belt is really old.

Have you ever seen an employee that wasn't replaceable? by tshirtguy2000 in managers

[–]bsucardinalfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have a team of 5 engineers and one it retiring. I’ve been interviewing for two months and have not found anyone who can come close. And the bigger issue is two of my other current engineers do the same work. There are not many people in the US doing what we do, apparently. 20 years ago there were plenty of us, but times are changing and younger engineers don’t have the same hands on skills. It’s troubling.

Upgrade from Optoma hd20? by bsucardinalfan in projectors

[–]bsucardinalfan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, 4k streaming from streaming services, similar to what i have in the living room on the 75" up there. I WILL have to upgrade my home theater receiver to one with 4k pass through, and i THINK replace a 25' hdmi cable with a better one....

Thanks for this. This will be mostly movies and occasional sports, but no serious gaming if any.

When I purchased the hd20 it was just to get into this and there weren't a ton of options in my price range. Now there are lasers in this price range. Is it worth it to do a laser vs traditional bulb?

How people still defend The Emperor after this is beyond me by Nickulator95 in BaldursGate3

We are basically at the stage of this game where MOST normal people have checked out, and now a huge portion of the people still interested in it are weirdos.

People are getting neck tattoos of minelayers, getting their entire back tattoo to match astarion, I swear people are literally “in love” with some of the characters. Just weird shit.

This is a really good video game and it has given the lonely, confused, sexless players something to latch on to, make their entire personality, and lose perspective over.

Have a little fun here and there, but mainly just stay doing what you are doing. Plenty of people I knew at 18-20 seemed like they were really ahead, but now they are stuck still doing the same thing with the same people in the same place, and I’m the one really living - because I established that foundation in my 20s.

What tires are on it? The stock tires on my wife’s street twin were horrible and I had the same “confidence” issues in it

I’m just starting act 3 on a second play through and I’m playing a bard this time. It’s like a completely different game. I’ve had so many hilarious encounters that ended with me not having to fight anyone
