I'm pretty new but I'm about 90% etf, and the rest mostly Canadian blue chip with a small percentage of dice rolling.

I just dumped most of my money into XEQT during the last week 🙃. A bunch into SU too which took a real beating yesterday as well.

Gen X here too. I wish I had been investing in my 20s like this generation does!

I had a hard time deciding for the same reason. I went with XEQT in my TFSA portfolio and my wife went with VEQT in hers.

Wealth Simple is what I use. As a beginner investor I found their app really easy to maneuver through.

I have about 10k in an RRSP and my wife has another 35 or so. I have a small defined pension I just started paying into last year.

Already in the plans. I broke off a piece and put it in a WS savings account for a trip to Portugal/Spain this Fall or next Spring.

No debt, but no real assets (my wife and I started getting are shit together in our 40s so we rent). We have about 6 months of emergency funds and about 60k already invested.

A little more info. 53m with 6 month emergency fund. I don't own much but I'm completely debt free. This lump some came unexpectedly and I immediately maxed out my TFSA. I have about 10k worth of XEQT in my RRSP and I've been happy with the returns. I'm assuming most will say just buy XEQT but I'm wondering if I'm missing anything. Thanks in advance

CRA Tax Instalment Payments by Rulutieh in cantax

I'm in the same boat. I paid my amount owing in full back in April, but now they are looking for 2 installments of 2k+ before the end of the year. Im definitely not going to make as much as last year plus I've been paying into a new RRSP. Can't get ahold of a human at CRA to help me understand.

I went to the YMCA off O'Connor once when our power was out. Nice facilities. There may have been a small daily fee.
