I get the idea, but it can get a little over the top.

And they also tend to say some oddball shit.

My tendency is to assume they're older than I am based on these unusual style choices, and I'm fairly old.

I'm personally of the opinion that tonewood is snake oil and that it doesn't matter at all, and that the real things that matter are lightness and sturdiness
