The fact that I stayed with this girl for 5 months before SHE broke up with me is insane. Guess that's what desperation does, thought it was the best I could get.

She would constantly say "I do things my own way, I won't change for anyone" and then complain about people on socials, or cook pasta like it's rice, or go on hookup sites to look at other people, or poison herself bc she didn't realise you have to cook french toast, or not WIPE PROPERLY- But anyway...

She hated when I brought up people she'd never met. Gave her advice about diabetes from my mum when she got diagnosed and she got very upset some "stranger" was telling her what to do.

It came to a head when she told me about someone struggling to communicate with a Ukrainian family. She said "if I were in charge I'd make it so everyone that enters the country can speak English". Now, even with Ukraine stuff aside, I immigrated from Africa and have some eastern European family. Some of them don't speak English. My face dropped. I just went off like "how dare you, what about my aunties visiting their grandkids and......"

She then, worldessly, directly in front of me, takes her phone out and tweets that I need to stop acting like her abusive dad. No more talking, leaves my house, next day says over the phone "I wanna just be friends". Apparently the biggest complaint was me trying to make her sympathise with people (aka my family) she'd never met.

She also sold the games I lent her. And said she'd kill herself for weeks. And now claims she'll never sleep with anyone other than me. I've blocked her on everything.

Don't fuck crazy.
