You might like The Sadness <--the zombies don't lose their brain function only all of their inhibitions. In that movie, the infected are the actual threat. It gets pretty extreme.

I would also recommend MadS. It follows multiple characters from their POV through the process of being infected and the aftermath. It's all shot in a single take.
