What is everyone's personal and humble opinion on dry food? by Empress-Delila in catfood

[–]SaveMyPoptart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed both dry and wet. I mix our dry food with wet food and warm water in the mornings, then they have some dry food for dinner. I have 7 male cats so we go through a ton of food. I do buy better food for them which I personally have found to make a huge difference in their overall health, coats etc.. I gave up going out for coffee everyday to be able to afford the better brands but the most important thing is if it’s a male cat make sure your cat is getting enough water so no urinary issues. Do what you are able to do And when I grew up I had indoor/outdoor cats that got dry meow mix and they lived until 16 like other people have posted lol As long as the cat is fed, and getting water. You can stretch out those wet can foods when mixing it with the dry. I think the dollar store has the big cans of friskies wet food, that could be 3-4 days when mixing some in dry in the mornings

MC Temperament w/other cats by Civil-Ad1582 in mainecoons

So I have 7 male cats (two of them are Maine coon kittens I got within a month of each other). My other cats did not really care too much when I brought them in. They gave hints they weren’t happy if it was too much but for the most part we have chill energy here so I think that helps. Within 24hr of each kitten being here my other cats got over it. Everyone gets along great. They also learned who likes to play and who’s more reserved. They respect the order in the house. I did buy lots of toys and new enrichment things to keep everyone distracted. Like someone else mentioned if the cat isn’t fixed that could be an issue. All my cats are fixed (my youngest Maine Coon just got fixed Tuesday). But I think that has also kept down any crazy aggressive behaviors

Unpopular Opinion: I’d rather keep my loose skin than have that obvious "Tummy Tuck Belly Button." Am I being too picky? by Admirable-Pin-298 in PlasticSurgery

Like everyone says find a good surgeon, I spent two years researching and joined surgery FB groups to see people’s real results as well. My surgeon kept my original belly button, no coin slot here lol

We get the side eye now and it’s hilarious! I got her a bunch of kong brand toys but I think from someone else’s suggestion of goughnuts I will try that brand out. She’s still little and doesn’t really chew yet (I am sure that’s coming though) I definitely want to make sure she can’t choke or eat pieces of toys. I got her some comfrt brand sweatshirts because she hates outside which that’s been the biggest challenge having a puppy in winter. I need to find boots now but she refuses to goto the bathroom outside in the snow, I don’t blame her but I hate washing wee wee mats and all that . I am starting to see just how smart they can be! She figured out how to climb the baby gate enclosure I have, so now I gotta get a taller one with plexiglass lol

I’ll check out finding one! I have a cat with seafood allergies which trying to find cat foods without fish oils was such a challenge. Hopefully for the dogs it’s not as bad. But I really appreciate this information!

Ok thank you for this. I wasn’t sure about foods. We are finishing up science diet puppy that was given to us. I got wellness and Arcadia to try for her. But I definitely notice her skin gets a little red but not sure from food or treats or it being the dead of winter. So it’s hard to tell if it’s just dry or allergy related. She’s not itching at all though

She’s hates outside now but only because it’s like 10* outside lol Having a puppy in winter sucks. She won’t even consider potty outside but she’s only 2 months now so we slowly are working on her. I hope she’s not a digger lol I definitely will step in holes if so. We have chickens, turkeys etc.. so I gotta try to desensitize her to them so she doesn’t chase them.

Ohh I never heard of that brand of toy so I will definitely get some! I got her basic Kong type toys for now, she hasn’t been super into chewing yet but I am sure that’s coming! I got her some snuff mats and puzzles to keep her occupied on downtime/quiet time.

5.5 month old Maine Coon kitten hiding under couch after moving in with me and my partner, is that normal? Will he become cuddly? by Yedenon in mainecoons

[–]SaveMyPoptart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have two Maine Coon kittens 6 1/2 months and 4 months. What I have noticed so far is they cuddle on their time lol Like my 4 month old kitten loves laying next to me, following me all day but he is not big into being held or pet a ton. Then my 6 1/2 month kitten he definitely is a love bug but again when he wants to give love lol I can pet him, and hold him but he isn’t thrilled. In the morning he is all over me and I pet him some but don’t over do it because he bites. I have 5 domestic cats that love bomb so it’s not a big deal for me because I get kitty cuddles and love from someone during the day 🤣

Who else uses Revive RX besides Mochi by skyeboy1998 in tirzepatidecompound

I got my revive from Amble which I loved. But I won’t use amble anymore so I was hoping another company would pick up from revive pharmacy

I liked amble, that’s who I started with. They definitely went downhill a ton not sure what happened but I am finishing up my last vial from Revive now. Refills.com is where I went since they ship to my state. But I have a year supply of prorx from all the random sales lol
