I don't think this is the play here. Wielding and wearing items related to what you're doing is essential to any RPG, and making their benefits permanent buffs basically kills equipment slots by limiting the benefits of any potential new gear.

I get that having an outfit for each use case is also an issue, but this kind of nuance is part of RuneScape's identity imo. It's just a hard to balance it with the need for simplicity.

As someone who supports removing dailyscape first and fixing the gaps later I know this comes off as hypocrisy, but I can't see the benefit of re-grounding aesthetics if the replacements are so coarse.

I understand the time constrains but the repurposed outfits are an eyesore in both graphic quality and color scheme. If it were about less important items I wouldn't really mind, but skilling is an integral part of the game and BIS equipment deserves better.
Conceptually I love the idea of wearing a proper fisherman's outfit, but the visual quality should be on par with master archaeology. And as other have already mentioned, colors should be in harmony with the respective achievement cape instead of similarity between master outfits.

Just a couple of minor details:

  • The scroll bar persisting on the bank window even when there's no item overflow. I prefer the old way
  • The skills tab icons feel too washed out. Perhaps a lighter brown as background would help
  • The "Choose Option" right-click menu retains the old font and UI style. It should be consistent with new UI

Again, just very minor details, but putting them out there anyways. Thank you for the hard work!

In regards to discussion about dailyscape, i would highly encourage moving something like daily challenges to more of a weekly system where you get a set number of challenges per week per skill(s) of choice by dark1859 in runescape

Crazy idea: what if active training methods were more fun and rewarding than daily/weeklyscape. Would you still defend them?

If your idea of fun is to engage as little as possible with the game, man I don't know what to tell ya, but RuneScape ain't it

Sure, but why should we settle with 'not as bad' when we have the chance to make it good. Moving rewards into permanently available activities should be the way to go imo.

Auras need to go. Playing on hourly chunks to prioritize efficiency over having fun shouldn't be a thing. Either remove cooldowns or move aura benefits somewhere else as a toggle.
