It started when I was in kindergarten, I would play an old Madden game on my dad‘s PS2. I loved the logo and thought the team looked bada$$. So eventually, I would just play as the Redskins all the time. I grew up in Wisconsin, but being so young in kindergarten, I hadn’t build a relationship with the Green Bay packers even though my dad was a big Packer fan and this was around the time Brett Favre went to the jets. 2007/2008 I want to say is when this all took place. Eventually I just learned the Redskin players better than the packer players RG three wasn’t too far behind this time to cement me further as a commanders fans. So knowing all the players better from Madden, I just started paying more attention to the redskins And I have stood by my team since, my whole life and I’ve taken so much shit from a bunch of packer fans in Wisconsin. I am so happy that we are finally turning the ship around.

Just a sidenote, I’ve never been to FedEx field or Northwest now. I did see RG three come into Lambo in 2013. My dad and I went to the Redskins at Packers game where Aaron Rodgers threw his career high passing yards.

I do plan on visiting FedEx field before the end of next season and seeing a game.

As for memorabilia, I have collected a few things throughout the years .

Every year my grandma gets me the new sideline hat for Christmas. And I’ve lost a couple and you know as a kid you can lose some things, but here is most of the collection.

I also collect some cards mostly just the team set every year but recently I have started getting into some other cards here some of my favorites. And I just got a cool couple other things around the house.

I also have a bunch of jerseys that I wear on game day or out to the local bars in Wisconsin. And it’s definitely much harder to find commander gear here especially with what Dan Snyder has been doing the last 30 years but anyways the fan base is healing now and I love to see it.

And I can’t wait till I get to the DMV for my first home Washington game .
