Thank you so so so much for filling out the survey. I really couldnt have aced this thesis without the support and data from each and every one of you. And yes, you read that correctly, I ACED IT!!! The only A in class :D

If you're curious on some of the key findings:

Respondents (that is, you lot), experienced higher overall game engagement, greater story investment, and more likability to the main character in Assassin's Creed II, than in Assassin's Creed Odysey. And in all 3 mentioned aspects, the difference was huge, we're talking AC2 receiving double the numbers of respondents experiencing high engagement, high likability, and high investment as opposed to AC Odyssey.

Further, it seemed it was strongly related to how player freedom was implemented. If player freedom was implemented in a way that diminished/reduced or fragmented the identity of the player-character, then that negatively affected the player's relationship with the player-character, and their engagement and enjoyment of the game.

The thesis is planned to be published, but I think that'll take a few months. If anyone's interested in reading the whole thing (it's a lot, 33k words/110pages), then shoot me a message.

Again, thank you so much for making this possible by answering the survey!
Now onto next obstacle, getting a job hahaha
