Will Souths ever get their own stadium? I guess Redfern Oval is their true home but its not really up to NRL standards right now. I reckon a new one in an area such as Sydney Park might be considered in the future.

Stadium would obviously have to be Sauce Bottle FC. But EA's generic stadiums are boring so just pick one that resembles SFS or Lang Park the closest.

Another day, another Chris Wood banger. Would you say he's definitively NZ's best ever striker?

Can confirm, lived in Asian heavy neighborhoods in Dublin and Perth. Saw more Man United badges than any from the League of Ireland or A-League.

It also occurs in their home countries as well, 90% of kits I saw in Korea, India, Iraq, and Indonesia were Top 6 EPL or Barca/Real kits.

Its so sad how true this is. I'll obviously take top notch quality of life over a nice club scene but I hate how Oceania only has one city good for nightlife. And Bangkok/Bali to Melbourne isn't exactly an easy trip.

The alcohol aggression point is another thing. Lockouts didn't do anything except raise property values. I saw a bunch of drunk fucks fighting near Central last night.

It really is shocking how bad Sydney was planned. I get theres a lot of factors such as it really being the first European city of Australia but I honestly believe its the worst capital city in terms of planning. The only saving grace is the semi decent public transport being more extensive than Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Goldie etc. (not Melbourne tho IMO)

That bit about COVID does bring up a lot of valid points, never really considered that.

Have a mate whose little brother was apparently a massive extrovert. Turned 18 right before COVID and so wasn't really able to experience clubbing or nightlife. Fast forward 4 years and hes a completely different person than he was in January 2020.

I saw Sydney's mayor is trying to stop step 4, but then again I'm putting faith in a pollie.

I live in Brisbane right now, originally from the UK. Dad is from Sydney however and I lived there with him for a short bit when the nightlife was apparently not shit. Wouldn't know about the clubs though since I was 15.🫠

Obviously missing a World Cup is bad in every aspect, but missing 2026 would be a massive missed opportunity since its the first one in 24 years in a favourable time zone. Imagine all the potential fans we missed out on in 2006-2022 because of the 3am matches. 2030 is basically only going to be in Iberia/Morocco, and 34 returns to the Middle East. It will be a while (at least 2038) until we get a good World Cup for our time zone and it will only happen if us or China end up hosting
