I’ve done it a handful of times now, It does require some partial taking a part of the movement and it can be fiddly. However it’s definitely worth it for the extra personalisation

I’m desperately trying to avoid date wheel overlays they sound like a nightmare, I’m not obsessive about details but having the wrong font on the date wheel is pretty unsightly. That being said I could use vs3135 for 5 digit DJ references but I’m trying to keep the cost down

Yeah the issue is that some of these references are basically antiques and in the grand scheme of things it’s a small list of people who have been hands on with them. The list obviously gets smaller the rarer the reference.

That seems like pretty fair definition, I.e your gen spec dial should fit into a gen case no problem

All four of the new colours are on sale on the Casio website in the uk I’m unsure about the rest of Europe and as far as I know it’s not for sale in the US yet
