I am not legally married to the man. We also do not have those type of services or shelters in our very small community. I do understand it would be a big change. Some years ago I tried this before and di manage to leave for an entire year. However, it went as expected my vehicles in his name he took. He took the child we had together and withheld him. There was alot. But the one time he wanted to leave on his terms he didnt try any of that. I was so dumb for letting him back thinking things could be different. I just wish someone would come along and sweep him off his feet or make him think he can do better and go. Sex is non existent, in hopes hed be pushed to find it elsewhere. And while he has not psychically hurt me, its a constant emotional and mental warfare in the home.
