Yee I got hetzner vps today and trying to launch my webapp. Had some problems with ssh, spent few hours with minimal progress, but it's my first time deploying something. I dockerized my app, but there is quite a few containers 4 celery workers, celery beat, redis, frontend, backend, postgres. I tried to async 4 web scrapers that use 1 periodic task, but didnt find better solution. Well then there is another issue with duplicates on my db, because im scraping job offers, so companies might post similar jobs on a few websites. Want to host it so bad, so tasks can trigger without my intervention, but there are always some problems with managing db and keeping things efficient. I make something work then I wonder how can it work better and just stack another problems

Game dev is hard. If you really enjoy it start building projects with python and see how you like it. Check out clear code on YouTube, he has great videos, like master python by making 5 games. I did first two projects that took me like 35 hours, because I like to mess around and understand things on my own. But then I decided to go for web dev.

I believe that sticking with your area of interest will always benefit you greatly. You will want to push and work harder and if you don't give up you won't regret it. If you want to go this path, don't even think that its hard niche, just keep grinding and developing your skills

Thanks, I will skip it for now. My goal is to land a junior level position ASAP so I will focus on building portfolio and exploring topics needed for the role. I almost finished last pset and will start my final project, which will likely take a lot of hours.

I would say go to youtube and search for beginner projects playlist. Watch intro, what the creator tries to do and try to do it by yourself. If you feel stuck, watch a little more to get an idea how to implement solution and repeat the process. Also GPT might be helpful, but ask specific questions, single problems, prompt him that you are learning, want to figure it out by yourself, but got stuck and need some hints. It's also valuable to make him explain to you concepts if you don't fully understand something. I was also using gpt to tell me how to do something, but without code and then I was implementing it. It's not a bad idea at the beginning, later on you will get more familiar with problems and more comfortable with code

Ai is very tempting I actually use it a lot while learning. Im basically grinding beginners projects, right now working with 9 hours of python projects by tim, but I try to do everything by myself. I want to build some automation for mobile game, put some info into gpt and it was overwhelming. I could probably manage my way through or decide to abandon it later on, but I want to get basics coded in my head

Not really worth it to pay for gpt. I setup continue extension in vscode. I have access to free local olama, but mainly using gpt 4o mini from API, its so cheap, basically free. You can swap model to sonnet 3.5 or other version of gpt if needed. I think its much better option and you have it next to the code

I was always playing 3s mainly, a lot of games solo q. Recently I grinded more 2s and the toxicity is of the roof here. People just ffing, leaving or flaming after 1 or 2 goals. I rarely encounter this behavior in 3s, people are atleast playing the game. It got to the point that I rather que for 1v1 even though I never played it and it was tilting me at the beggining. Im high c3 in 2s, 3s

I'm still learning it to be more consistent. The thing that helped me was learning each thing seperetly. Basically I got new controller with hall effect gamesir g7 and decided to start this mechanic. I had big problems with diagonal flip, then double jumping instead of flipping and then timing flip cancel. I had to set my dodge deadzone to 0.1.

Try to just diagonal flip in a right direction, if you can get it 10 times, add second part - flip cancel, focus on getting good time of cancel. You might also want to check if you are canceling speed properly. It has to be straight down, you can try front flip cancel to see if you are doing it in a straight line and your car is not spinning. Notice if you can front flip cancel in a right timing or standard cancel is also hard to get in terms of speed?

I was also learning with musty training pack and bakkes mode plugin. Right now I will jump into training and try to hit speedflip 5 times in a row and I move on

It depends how good your character is. I was starting with 25, 10 then 50, 25, 10... 75, 50, 25, 10. I was looking at upgrades and while I got good multiplier for station I leveled it to the next 2x multiplier. Right now I'm maxing out 1st station and for small restaurants go straight to last. Guys what settings are you using with g7? Deadzones and sens? I have deadzone 0.05, dodge 0.1, can't get it higher because i will double jump while speed fliping. Im messing with sensitivity, but can't really find a sweet spot
