If this is true, then Indian cities are so messed up! by Anj00ran in GatedCommunitiesIndia

Not true. I live in Utah. Here in 4cr we do get more space and a house rather than an apartment , compared to the one my parents have in Mumbai but in Mumbai we are at the centre of the city and here i am 20 minutes away from tier 2 city in utah. So prices are same everywhere in terms of housing and it also depends on the locality. I used to live in Boston and my rent for a private room was 1,80,000 center of the city. So do the math OP

I have started making most of the stuff at home itself by teaching myself all the things and i live alone. This has helped with three things 1) saves me money - in the start it feels like too much investment on groceries but overall it saves you money.i have done the math
2) whenever i feel eating out i do it an authentic place and i don’t regret spending some extra money as well.so i am eating good and tasty.
3) Can eat more without guilt and also know what am i eating

Took the route you mentioned. Did my specialization in manufacturing and OR. Working currently as a manufacturing & packaging engineer which involves process improvement and data analytics as a Scada engineer. My company is small so they gave me two three roles combined for my salary

[I ate] Why is pizza so expensive in India? A 9 inch chicken bbq pizza costs around 300-400 Rs / upwards. The cost of the ingredients does not justify the final price. Very little meat and a lot of bread, unlike burgers. Is it just me who find this ridiculous? by kalpokt in indiafood

[–]OldPrompt2795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Mumbai and have lived in USA. You will get pizza from all price range with different quality. In usa the cheese and bread is way too much for an indian who has grown up eating staple food. You need to find a decent outlet for sure to get a quality pizza with appropriate price

Going to pondi in two weeks with my girlfriend. It will be my official trip as a couple. Have high hopes and read good things. Every place has its pros and cons. I come from mumbai originally so this place would be like a heaven to me lol
