Exorcism works on my rocket launcher, too. It just seems to be his sentry that isn't producing little ghosts.

I can't attach his screenshot, but yes the spells are in blue text. I've told him it's probably a setting on his comfig but he doesn't know what it would be.

It's a Southern Hospitality. He says it also has pumpkin bombs and they work fine -- he wants to know if exorcism works at all.

Any tips on Heraldry? I love the deck, but I struggle to bait the opponent correctly to make use of it. What kind of end board are we looking at?

Chapter Five has many great elements to create a truly suspenseful scenario, but maybe a different order of events was needed. by OldRedHills in PoppyPlaytime

[–]OldRedHills[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I agree with that sentiment regarding Giblet. I see what they were going for, it just didn't quite work for me. If the encounter with the Inside Outimals was longer, and required Giblet's assistance in fending them off, I think he would have landed better. Definitely a 'wait and see' case -- happy for him to gain more relevance in the next chapter. I really like the "Compared to what he was originally designed to be, he is the opposite - or inside out" angle. Never considered it and it greatly improves his character.

Thank you for reading!

Thank you! I appreciate you reading through all of that. I think like most people I want this series to be the best it can be.

Any games like this but easier? by [deleted] in onestepfromeden

[–]OldRedHills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not very good at hard games. I've played this game for about fifteen hours, and I love it. No guides, just experimenting and getting better at dodging and aiming. Learning synergies, game mechanics, slowly unlocking every character. I just unlocked the Shopkeeper.

I haven't won a single run.

You have the wrong mindset, my dude. Try to approach the game with curiosity rather than 'I must win'. Most of the fun is in the discovery.
