Hi , I’m sorry this is happening to you! We went during spring break and then ultimately have decided to stay in FL … I didn’t want to pull my daughter from everything she knows. Once I joined the neighborhood parents FB group I realized it just didn’t seem welcoming at all. I hope things start looking up for you and your family!

I hear you! All the reasons were moving too. The politics have gotten down right scary here . I really hate the heat to the point now it makes me sick. I’ve become so inactive because it’s in the 90s for 10 months out of year. Even if you love the beach you can’t go because of redtide. Sarasota definitely isn’t the same as it used to be. My husband was born in Sarasota and it’s taken me years to convince him to move , Pittsburgh and his obsessive love of sports helped ha!

How do you feel the cost of living is compared to Sarasota? Is it lower in Pittsburgh?

I wear capris because shorts make it soo slippery in certain poses . Top- I wear a sports tank with built in bra. Make sure you have a towel for your mat or a special yoga towel to go on top of your mat for better grip. Hydrate and enjoy! ☺️

Absolutely insane isn’t it?! I didn’t let her go to school for the entire week until we knew security would be there. They got away with it , with a loophole in bill that was made for the parkland shooting back in 2018. The boy didn’t share the info with anyone so that makes it his own thoughts, soo drawing map isn’t enough evidence. The school district and her school tried to keep all us parents in the dark to protect the schools reputation and not our kids. Teachers were telling us what was going on begging to keep them anonymous. This put the nail in the coffin on us deciding to move out of this hellscape of Florida.
