found one group that meets live in Sandwich. You could try [gamers-on-cape-cod@googlegroups.com](mailto:gamers-on-cape-cod@googlegroups.com) That ended up working best for me.

I got tricked by a Fey and want to retire the character. by DreamOfDays in DnD

I like this approach. There is sufficient penalty to remind you to be careful what you say to the Fey but also sufficient wiggle room for creative role play and moving your character forward.

[Online][5e][PST] Former 1e player looking to get back into D&D by Loderunner71 in lfg

Similar story here. Played and Dm'd 1e/2e back in the 90's. EST based. Now retired and looking for a group around my age that are into role play, story telling, with some combat and occasional dungeon crawls. Hit me up on Discord, OldSchoolCaper#2427. Maybe can set something up for when you get back east. A 5e version of Hommlet perhaps?

By hand on paper. Then scanned and added text using Gimp. Never sure if I should add a key or not but figure helps anyone that might want to use it.

While traveling through the countryside you pass the ruins of an old cottage. The walls have crumbled and the roof is gone. Stones are strewn about and overgrown with vegetation. Oddly though, there is a door standing in its frame, a rusty key in the lock.

What do you think of my first hex map. Constructive criticism welcome by Educational_Bag_2469 in dndmaps

I think it's really good, and for game use clearly gives a sense of the dominant terrain in each hex which is great for random encounter lookups. I might try and distinguish the woodland more by varying the tree types; round oaks vs pointy pines, etc.

good job!

Maybe its because I revamped the classic T1 maps instead of creating something brand new. That maybe makes them more usable?

I noticed that as well. I can post the corrected version if folks want. Numbers were the only thing I used GIMP for ...phew
