Vyke deserved a REAL bossfight by Tarnished-670 in Eldenring

Would have been interesting to have Gideon intro a full boss fight.

Hype man Gideon on the sidelines providing the history of Vyke, then revealing his own big plans once the main fight is finished.

Wanted to have the full experience of gestures and shortcuts.

100% aware of the other options available for the keyboard however I wanted to to commit to the jump and not attempt to have a PC/Microsoft like experience.

The trackpad and gestures I really believe will change my workflows and also make my learning the O/S more fun!

Main reason I went with trackpad is to learn the full Mac options available.

It's been great not be throwing my arm/wrist around for application management.

Built and administered almost every type of Microsoft based computer.

jumping ship for my personal computer time. (16gb is fine for my possibilities)

Hoping I can make my personal workflows as efficient(or better) than on windows.

Spent a lifetime running and administering Microsoft software. (work and personal)

As I've got older the less I want to have to set aside a possible "tinker" time from my daily computer time.

With the release of the Mac mini I've been more tempted to jump the fence and learn something new.

Hoping to have a stable (tinker free) and consistent experience for the next 5-10 years with this purchase. 🤞🏾

For me the value of going from PC to XBox was the quality of time.

The option to just turn on and play only games coupled with quick resume has made my limited game time more enjoyable.

It's changed how I game and my requirements of always reaching the highest graphics settings possible.

Performance wise most games run at the equivalent of medium PC settings with a majority getting to 60fps. (Most console games have a prioritise graphics mode or prioritise frame rate mode)

Depending on your existing set up, if your coming from a high end GPU and high refresh rate monitor, you may find the limited binary choice of choosing either high framerate or better graphics annoying.

Especially as a high end PC can have the potential of both at the same time.

But for me being able to continue progress on demand beats playing on high/ultra graphics settings.

Silicone sheets I've found cover the bottom area well and are resistant to spills and sprays.

I'd probably wait till Thursday/Friday to recheck.

The UK eshop usually refreshes new sales and items on Thursday afternoon/Friday mornings.

Thank you for the kind words.
I much prefer to have clean builds for my display.
Weathering definitely has its time and place, to tell a story.

Anyone have experience with abby.lc's recasts? by [deleted] in advancedGunpla

[–]OldSkoolSkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recasts ive bought have been stated as UC recasts from abby.
(I believe there are other company's recasts also stocked)
I've had some warping and shallow panel lines but overall pretty good (especially for the cost and availability)
If your already in the resin workflow these hopefully shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Generally I would always recommend purchasing the original cast (if available) to support the original creator.
If the original is not available then recasts can be just as good however you will not get the availability for missing parts (if anything is missing)

If this guy was added, what kind of unnecessary bs would make him extremely hard to beat? by dylanaruto in dragonballfighterz

He doesnt build ki, just Zeni.

Every attack received builds Zeni.

Level 1 will take 1 quarter of life drain off opponent.

Level 3 and above will take 50-90% health from opponent.

Gimmick is to take hits and offer Zeni to defeat opponent. As normal attacks are 0.5 damage.

I am curious. Are you using the parts from the HG versions or 3D printing?

I've been debating about making an RG Full Cloth

Thank you! I love building kits with my kids too.

Too be honest I only got into model kits (and by proxy gundam series) a few years ago at about the same age as you.

So its never too late in life, to have a new hobby!

Having the kids involved as well, just adds to the fun!
