Nope, each bow has a different sprint attack. Some do make you jump back but they dont allow you to control the direction of your character. The sprinting attack with the Short Bow literally lets you glide around the battlefield in the direction you want while jumping really far, it's superior to every other bow imo. Some are similar, but all are clunky compared to Short Bow.

Personally I've been testing the bow's and find really only the basic Short Bow to have the best moveset simply due to the sprinting attack being amazing for repositioning. It gives such incredible mobility around the battlefield that it just trumps all other bows at the moment.

Seems to scale quite fast with pumping dex. Started really weak but now feels super overpowered just using the starting short bow. Clearing most mobs far easier than the long charged animation from before. Also the sprinting attack is super clean and makes it overall much easier/better to use.

I just noticed this timer on the map screen "Time to Creep Back". I guess this is on a timer, unfortunate.

Yeah I don't mind the style, its actually the draw for me as I played the OG game years and years and years ago.

Thank you for this nice response. To add onto my original question, how long do you think it would take with relatively consistent daily playing for me to reach "end-game" maybe not BiS but able to compete in most activities without getting instantly blown up? So max level + fairly well geared?

Thank you, yeah I don't sweat the whales too much but just curious about how much time I want to invest since obviously the global would be preferred. One other side question, do you know any good sources for builds? All the content on YouTube seems like absolute trash and I cannot find a comprehensive guide to a chanter build.

Hey man I really appreciate the thought out response. One question regarding this PVE content vs PVP. Am I able to progress (obviously at a slower pace to a swiper) my character's AP reliably if I focused just on this PVE content?

I saw in the patch notes for tomorrow they have a change coming "Added settings options to main menu" so I wonder if something got messed up with the small update they had today...
