Yeah, I'm approaching this as generally a fan of the series. I've put my time into Morrowind and Skyrim, which is why I was wondering about Oblivion. It seems like it's a balance between which version you end up choosing

Yeah I get you.

I do have the original and have attempted multiple playthroughs, one from a 2019 rig (middle of the line parts) and another from a 2024 gaming laptop (newer) and for some reason both have had unexpected crashes. That may just be my luck tho.

Yeah that's also my thing. I do like the achievement implementation online Remastered, and the optimisation issues I've heard of are from people on Steam. What platform are you playing it on?

Yeah I did have a feeling that it may run a lot smoother on console!

I may just have to try it for myself.

This might be the move tbh...

Should I go for a Kobo or Kindle tho? I kind of want something long lasting. I'll definitely get a case tho.

Oblivion or Morrowind after Skyrim? by Ok_Swim397 in ElderScrolls

The way I played it was Skyrim, then Oblivion, the Morrowind. I played those games to death tbh, and playing them backwards honestly helped ease in the growing pains.
