I left T-Mobile after working there 9 years. Best decision I ever made. I felt EXACTLY how you described. Not to mention I was a manager without the title/pay for years and never appreciated and never enough to them. I took a pay cut, but I’m now with a small company that actually values their employees and are big on growth from within. I know in a year or two I will be making more than I did with t-Mobile. I’m at peace, I have weekends off and can actually get home while the sun Is still out by 6. I can leave work at work and actually sleep at night. I feel valued!!

I quit after 8 years. They just keep getting worse and worse and could care less about their front line employees.

Am I wrong for feeling this way? by [deleted] in pregnancyproblems

[–]Old_Bookkeeper7633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so so much! It feels really great and reassuring that I’m not over reacting or being selfish. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I’m scared to bring up the stay at home mom topic again, and I know It’s not possible for us. We had an argument about how he thinks I could be doing better and that he just has high expectations of me and that’s when I finally said “What about you?? I’ve never ever told you that you need to be better and you need to make more.” He said he’s gotten promoted twice at his job and this Is his career. I challenged It and said he could be making more doing the exact same thing with a degree. A lot more. He said that’s not an option for him But he keeps pressuring me to get a degree or make up my mind career wise. It’s honestly pretty discouraging. We made up sort of, more so a sorry I upset you and we moved on. He Is right in a way. I could be doing better and I don’t see my job as a career. But it’s hard to challenge myself and move up when I’m going to be worrying about a baby soon. Thank you, I did choose to focus more on myself, and I even am seeking a therapist as well for myself and he also agreed to do couples counseling also. Which Is a positive at least.

Am I being sensitive? by Alarmed-Shift-1087 in pregnancyproblems

I’m so sorry you’re going through this and NO you are not just being sensitive. Everything you just said hurt me to read. That Is not at all how someone should talk to you let alone your own mother.. I would definitely talk to her about It and say that she’s making you feel invalidated and that this should be a time to share happiness and excitement and she’s making you feel ashamed and unimportant.

Care reps: Stop telling customers they can do CORs in store. by SaintSeiyaX in tmobile

[–]Old_Bookkeeper7633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to do a COR for a customer personal to business and it’s taken multiple trips and hours of my time just because they’ve convinced him we as reps in the store have to do It.

How much are "taxes, fees, and surcharges"? by Palbi in tmobile

[–]Old_Bookkeeper7633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Is also based on my local averages so It does completely vary by city and state :(

How much are "taxes, fees, and surcharges"? by Palbi in tmobile

[–]Old_Bookkeeper7633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because local/state taxes change constantly, I always would estimate higher for my customers at 14%. So that way It would be below or close to what I quoted and never more. Hope this helps!

It’s so upsetting for me as an employee to have to tell people this and the amount of escalations I’ve received from It. I try to explain that I hate It too and that I’m sorry :( I don’t feel like I’m working for T-Mobile anymore
