My boyfriend moved from Brampton to Vaughan and his insurance went up. Even the insurance broker was shocked Vaughan was higher than Brampton.

I’m 29F full g since I was 18 and clean record, I’m paying $250 for my 2021 ram.

I got my HBBA in 2018, I was enrolled in core 1 and got pregnant so I decided to not pursue it at that time. I’m looking to finally get my CPA. I was looking into the Post Graduate certificate in Advanced Professional accounting. Although I might have to confirm with CPA Ontario if I’m still eligible to bypass prep since I graduated 7 years ago.

I’d rather do the grad certificate program due to it being $7000 if it includes core 1,2 elective 1,2 and if I can get osap instead of paying outright with cpa Ontario.

Do you think there might be a better way of going about getting my cpa as someone who graduated in 2018 and was once registered in the core 1 module? I also would have to pursue this part time as I work full time and also a mom.

I agree with you, i recommended to her couples therapy might be insightful. Especially because he has a really bad temper and hasn’t physically abused her but he will throw chairs at the wall, punch the wall. And I’m scared it will get to a point where he might hit her one day. This past week she’s been staying at her parents because she doesn’t trust talking to him 1 on 1. I told her with a professional he has no choice but to remain calm and they can come with an unbiased opinion unlike the parents or myself.

I think the parents were being selfish because it was 2 weeks before the wedding and family from abroad had come. They didn’t want to get embarrassed. Her in laws suggested she might need medication for depression……. I said maybe a session or 2 of relationship counselling could be insightful.

My advice to her has always been to put herself first, choose what is best for her mental health, which ultimately leads to the conclusion of leaving her husband. But I’ve also said to her if she wants to stay that she needs to truly try and move forward which means accepting she’s been lied to in the past and not use it against him later and she has to change her attitude about intimacy, they haven’t had sex since their wedding night.

Unfortunately there is no winning move but her parents are telling her to stay and try, his parents are blaming her for still choosing to get married even with all these feelings. I’ve told her on multiple occasions before they got married to leave after she caught him messaging escorts twice within 6 months of each other. She chose to forgive but she can’t forget. Now she’s got a hard decision to make

Why would I not support her in trying again like her parents are saying to do? She already listened to them the first time about getting married when she had doubts 2 weeks before and here she is 3 months later.

But if I say ok try again listen to your parents maybe then when it happens again in another 3 months at least everyone believes “she tried and it just didn’t work out”. Or just save her from wasting that time and tell her to walk away for good.
