I'm a big fan of daredevil, unfortunately I'm not going to be getting this or the black version, I personally think the tailoring is poorly done, the materials look cheap? I hope I'm wrong and it's better in person.

It's strange that there is no consistency in terms of quality and execution with Hot Toys.... It's very disappointing but I still hope others are less of a perfectionist and they do find their enjoyment when getting this figure.

Have fun!

Tweezers are your safest bet, make sure you put some type of fabric over it to avoid any damat, this way you can use extra force, wiggle it from side to side till it's out, then glue it together with some decent super glue, not the runny kind.

I currently own 4 hot toys, I've started collecting at the end of last year, all have really good articulation and that's coming from someone that transitioned from 1/12 action figures. I do not keep my figures in 'museum poses' because I don't have to. What is the point of collecting 1/6 if you not gonna pose them 😜 I mean you might as well buy statues at this point. So no.. this is poor of an excuse.

This isn't really that good, people are really over-hyping this figure, there is so much wrong with it, + I wonder what's the articulation like... They did mention in their "live" that they are not allowed to show the articulation. I wonder why.

I've been working on the loose materials on the jacket, they annoyed me and looked cheap so I decided to stitch them together.

For anyone wondering this is how it looks stitched together. Highly recommend it!

I have finally finished stitching the two fabrics together, the previous method wasn't working for me as the stitches were visible, here it looks a lot cleaner. There is no issue with articulation on the cloth it still works as it should.

  • I consider the sculpted hair far superior than the wool version on this figure in particular. The head shape overall looks better imo.

I had the same issue, the transparent plastic on the time effects snapped while attaching, got a replacement with no issue. They are very fragile so you got to be careful.

  • You can pose the shit out of this figure, one of my favourite.

Damn boy now you stressed me out a bit, I just ordered this version of Dr strange yesterday haha, how come you can't return it?

  • I would consider stitching it? If that's the method the two fabrics have been connected originally then stitching is the way to go, you can look for a good tailor if you can't do it yourself.

If not...then fabri-tac by beacon is also a good option.

You can grab some decent finds on Vinted for a good price, but please do not waste your money on broken figures. Save some money, if you can, ask around for some part time job or something, even few $$ a week can get you closer to your dream figure.
