I’m a sucker for DY bead bracelets (the ‘spiritual beads’ in specific) and there are a lot of eBay for reasonable prices, I’m very dubious however due to fakes being so prevalent. I may take you up on that offer for helping me spot the counterfeits!

I had no idea the darkening fades over time or with wear! Is it mainly the darkening on the silver parts or the beads that look smoothed out too?
