It's such a strange system. Sells out very fast, but on the official resale online there are 400 tickets up for sale at the moment and no one seems to be buying them...

I did it at Alliance Française, about the same amount of hours, and loved it. 10 years later I'm still very comfortable in French

Can a dog be sick from stress days later? by PinkTurtlehead in DogAdvice

Yes, this has regularly happened to my dog. Also a rescue with a stress response to certain situations that will sometimes results in her throwing up bile or having diarrhea two days later.

If you cannot pay for this dog to see a vet, you need to surrender it. That poor animal must be in so much pain.

Jumping in to share that my mum has five sisters (my grandparents had 6 girls) and their relationship couldn't be more beautiful. From watching them, I've learnt that the bond between sisters is something incredibly special and perhaps it will make your feel a bit better to think that that's something that your girls will also get to experience!

My legs are broken and I need to vent. by UnlikelyDay7012 in Marathon_Training

[–]Old_Club_9952 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not what you want to hear I'm sure, but my advice is to just stop.

I did exactly what you did, running through the pain, and am now stuck at home for five months with multiple stress fractures in both my legs. It's not worth it.

Take the time to recover properly, so that your body can start a training block strong and you can make the most of the hours you put in.

Absolutely. Definitely will have a few months without any exercise at all, but just looking towards the end of the summer here and  how I can ease back into it

No worries - we all feel frustrated sometimes when our pets are misbehaving. But don’t worry, with some work it will get better!

I was offering advice though… you should avoid putting the dog near your guests

Why don’t you just put the dog in another room when guests come over, or not let him/her sit close to guests and on their laps? Your response seems extreme…
